Who's that?

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
"UGGGH I FUCKING HATE MY LI- oops sorry mum..." Yelled out Skyler as she woke up from a deep sleep and literally smashed the alarm into pieces.

"Watch your language honey just because your old enough doesn't mean you shouldn't keep your manners" Shouted Skylers mom from the kitchen.

"Typical mom... Anyways I gotta go... Ya know... Tests?" Questioned Skyler

"Honey you haven't eaten your breakfast!" Yelled Skylers mom from the kitchen.

"Mom it's fine I can go to the café on the way" Skyler trying hard to cheer her mom up.

"No dear. That would mean I prepared breakfast for no reason..." Skylers mom replied.

"Mum... How about giving it to weasel?" ushered Skyler.

A small but shabby dog came rushing in from outside, clearly having been running in the mud..

"Dear lord. WEASEL GET OUT OF MY POLISHED KITCHEN YOU FILTHY ANIMAL!" Yelled out mom, clearly not entertained with the dog.

Skyler laughed madly but felt sorry for her mom who was always alone after the break up with her husband, Lionel Richards. Her mom, Scarlett Lale, was sick of his addiction to alcohol... And so was Skyler. She would find him walking in the market, drunk, screaming and pushing everyone out of his way. She would have to drag him home, sometimes unable to, blushing of the embarrassment of having an addicted father. Meanwhile, Scarlett put a plate of Skylers breakfast on the floor next to Weasel who ate mad quick.

"Hey Skyler!" Called out Scarlett.

"Yes mum?" Replied Skyler.

"I know I can't help you much with all these school responsibilities and... Life's been hard ever since your father left... So I just wanted to wish you good luck..." Scarlett began to sob.

"Oh mum please..." Skyler runs up to her mom and hugs and kisses her.
"Whatever happens always know I'm here for you!" Replied Skyler reassuringly.

"Oh dear what would I do without you!" Cried Scarlett.

" No. What would I do without YOU. You are the reason I try hard every day. Without you my life wouldn't be the same." Replied Skyler
"I... This is getting a bit too deep. Might as well be screaming now. Okay dear give me a kiss-goodbye" sobbed Scarlett, blowing her nose hard on a paper she had next to her.

"See you later mom!" Yelled Skyler.

"See you dear.." Whispered as Skyler was out of sight.

Skyler walked down her street and walked into the city of London, expecting a boring and harsh day of school. Much awaits her this day though, for a new student arrives at the school that will change her dreams ultimately.
** This was my first chapter of my first book Grace. I'm extremely sorry for the very late updates. These months I've been extremely busy and to be honest lazy and I'm really sorry for that but now that I have the basic idea of what I'm going to write, I'll update even more! So stay tuned my fellow readers! Hope you enjoyed this first chapter of my first novel, Grace...😋😋😋*

Skyler strolled down the street as her classmates looked at her in a look of disgust. Skyler stared right back at them. She didn't know why people hated her so much. Was it because of her grades? Or was it something personal? She didn't care right now. She was late and had to get to school.
"Hey Sky-girl" called out one of them. A girl Skyler hated the most. Andrea Lodav. Her friends giggled and insulted Skyler.
"I told you to stop calling me that!" Shouted Skyler.
"Why should I? You're a good for nothing slacker who doesn't know what true popularity is!" Andrea waved her hand over her hand and walked away, clearly disgusted by Skyler.
"Well at least I'm not a whore!" Shouted skyler back.
Andrea halted. She immediately turned around and glared at Skyler. She stomped her way back to Skyler and pointed her finger at her.
"Repeat what you just said!" Andrea Shouted at Skyler.
" I don't have to if I don't want to... Whore." Skyler calmly replied.
" I SAID REPEAT WHAT YOU JUST FUCKING SAID!" Andrea cursed.
"NO YOU FUCKING SLUT! NOW GET OFF ME! IM CLEARLY LATE FOR CLASS NOW!" Screamed out Skyler.
After School (2:50 pm):
Skyler had a long and busy day. Her science teacher really wore her out. Her math teacher was furious with one of her friends for not doing his work properly. Chorus was dreadful. She could barely speak out. Social studies was awfully boring to Skyler. Another documentary about civil rights. The most interesting part was lunch. A new student had arrived with a lot of applause. His name was Ray. He had quite large hair, specifically being an afro, Skyler wondering why he had such a handful of people following his back. Skyler wondered how great it would be to be that great of a person. When she least expected it, her soul mate or life partner (as said when they were kids) Charlotte had jumped out of the bushes and pounced on Skyler.
"WHAT THE F- Oh Charlotte..." Skyler said in relief.
"Hehe. Thought I was some lunatic raper? Wouldn't blame ya. You know how I am. I shouldn't be pouncing on people like this when Ray is here." Charlotte giggled.
"Hey what's the deal with this guy. What has he done to become so... So popular?" Skyler asked in confusion.
"Well I mean Scott and Pete don't know. I don't know. Basically, I have no fucking idea..."
"Oh yeah. Scott and Pete." Skyler had a lot of memories with them. Most of the time the memories were pretty cool. Though, there were times where you just don't want to remember things such as when both Scott and Pete tried the Mentos and Coke experiment and it all ended up in a riot as it hit a police car with, whom none expected, a sheriff. Of course there wasn't really any damage done but they were put a fine and they blamed Skyler for not helping them.
"Huh. Apparently he has a hit on YouTube called... Apparently:Duh. What a coincidence. Pete wanted to use that title but instead modify it to 'Apparently dum'." Read Skyler off Wikipedia.
"Well Pete has a good reason to be wanting to use that title!" Skyler grinned.
"Definitely." Said Charlotte.
As both returned home, walking by Starbucks and finishing their drinks as they arrived, both had the same idea. Why not create their own YouTube video? It was simple. Their plan was to put a pint of funniness, weirdness and a hell lot of bad words to create the ultimate formula of popularity. In Skylers life, she'd never thought she would be that desperate for fame. Maybe even for the love of someone...
