"Your s-so your so right my friend" Dylan said, stuttering- well more like glitching.
The people of London never question the strange things that happen because they were normal to them. 1939, Britain was at war with hitler and even if the people of London did notice strange things happening they wouldn't have time to deal with it. Food and clothing were in short supply, but Dylan always tried to keep his chin up. That's where our story really begins.

"Good-bye darling I'm off to work" Dylan said in a masculin voice he always put on when he speaks to his wife Betty.
"Don't forget your lunch darling" she rushed over and handed it to him, "And say hello to Shannon for me"

"I will" he said as he pecked her on the cheek.
He walked down the road lost in his thoughts when he felt something, not like something touching him but watching. He stood there getting nervous looking around for something but he couldn't pinpoint what he was feeling exactly.

'Good day my friend' Josh said sneaking up behind Dylan, Dylan jumped a little. "Sorry did I frighten you?"

"It's alright" Dlylan responded, deciding he was just imagining things.
They walked in silence to the farm where they sold their crops for money. Dylan, still feeling a little shaken up, let Josh prepare their little shop while he went out. Not knowing where he was going he ended up on the outskirts of the town, altho he had gone out of the town before he never been to this spot. Just then memories started to flood his mind, making him stare into the distance.

The hot sun beamed down on the hot grass as a young Dylan trumped through the weeds, he had never been here before, but he took a moment to look at the beautiful clouds in the sky and the little flowers at his feet. Then it happened static, it seemed as if the whole world around him was malfunctioning, a pounding headache made him fall to his knees. As soon as it happened it left, still on the ground grasping his head he looked a little closer at the ground, trying to steady his thoughts. Intensely staring he saw what looked like a line, no a curtain. Curiously he lifted it up then, black.

He was back in the present starting to break free of his memories, not that he wanted to though but they were dying to leave him. Soon he realized he was in the same position as he was so many years before, come to think of it he was starting to forget normal things like names and how people look. Then he remembered something.. the curtain, what was under it, why could he not remember? Slowly getting up he stared and the same thing, the pretty clouds and the weeds, nothing had changed from his memory. Slowly he crouched down and looked for the bottom of the cutanin, once he spotted it he picked the bottom up so he was holding it but not enough to see anything under. Surprised he still remembered how to lift things, he pulled it up.

There it was, remembering everything he saw a tree. Well not just any tree it was different. It wasn't like the others, it was like he was in a dream. He turned his attention to the sky that was...

Dylan was horrified at what was happening to him? He tried to focus on the memories that were still tugging and pulling trying to get away. He remembered the same tree but then he saw people, not behind him or beside or in front, it was like they were in his eyes. They were next to a big gray box with knobs and things on the bottom. The strange people turned it on, and there he was standing there with josh.

Dylan came back to the present, letting the curtain drop and he went directly over to Josh.
"Hello Dylan are you ready to start?"Josh asked in a friendly voice.

"Did it happen to you?" Dylan asked, sounding like a maniac, he probably was considering that Josh had no idea what he was talking about.
Dylan read his face and said "follow me."
Atho he looked special Josh followed trusting his friend that something was wrong. Dylan matched over to the same spot he was at moments before and kneeled down. Josh watched him search for the curtain but he couldn't seem to find what he was looking for.

"No it was just here a moment ago" Dylan
stammered, "it was just here!"

Josh hesitated "Are-Ar you ok?" there it was the gilich.

"No," Dylan responded, marching off leaving
Josh to wonder what the heck just happened.
Dylan ran faster than ever before, once he arrived at his house he unlocked the door with the key hidden under their door mat.

"Darling, what are you doing home so early?" She questioned him.

"Betty, I need you to listen to me. I don't have much time before they come and get me." he said, her face said it all but she followed him to the living room, sitting on the small red couch.
" Were being watched i need you to help me escape" he said.

"Oh darling your so funny" she said laughing, "what, no this isn't a joke" he said looking into her eyes, they seemed different, she was still smiling but her eyes look cold and dead not full of life like they usually are.

"Dylan, stop being so hilarious" she said giggling but she seemed to have no emotion.
Dylan got up mumbling something to Betty saying he was going back to work.

He knew exactly where he was going, past the rods, cars and his farm to where he saw the curtain. He knew they were going to change things soon, he would be back to his normal life again. But that's not what he wanted, he didn't want to be in a war just repeating itself over and over again he didn't want to be lied to anymore. Not even checking if the curtain was still there he walked into it.

"Beep, beep, beep". His eyes were heavy and his body felt like a ten pound bowling ball was attached to it. He slowly lifted his eyelids, he got hit by a bright light over him hurting his eyes but he didnt care, he was too busy looking at all of the items around him, like the tree they were different also not to mention that everything looked so scary. The beeping was coming from a machine next to him. Suddenly a woman in a wiht gown came into his room.
"Oh you're awake" she said as she rushed over to the machine next to him.

"Where am i?" he said blunty.

"You're in the hospital, someone found you in the forest unconscious." she responded.
After that he said nothing, making him drift off to sleep. He spent a few more days in the hospital only getting up to go to the bathroom.

A few other people came in asking him questions and helping him walk. He said he couldn't remember anything but he did vividly. Once he asked one of the people why everything looked so weird and he found out that it was something called color. The nice people got him a place to stay until he was better, aplenty it was 2010 not1939 which made him very confused as it should. Once in awhile he would check the newspaper and one day he found an article that made him jump in his seat. The headline read:
MAN DISAPPEARS FROM AN OLD MOVIE
They were pictures of the movie that was based off 1939 made in the 1940s, but the thing that made it so strange was that a person was simply missing. Aplenty some people were doing an experiment and were trying to make and colerles movies into one with color. No one really knows what happened to Dylan after that, but I do. He lived the rest of his life as a farmer and had a couple friends named Josh and Sharon. He loved to watch old movies and buy vintage tables and couches. He lived a happy life and died on december 8th 2027 by natural causes.

Now you might be wondering how do i know all of this and let just say i always try to keep my chin up.
