George wakes up. His room, covered in glitter and confetti. He rubs his temples, trying to sooth his pounding head. He looks to his left. His eyes widen, looking at the blonde man in his bed. George looked down at himself, he was shirtless, and so was the guy. He raised his eyebrows, confused on how he had gotten in his bed. George shook his head, reaching for his phone on the floor beside the bed. Dead. "Shit." he gripped his phone tightly, almost bending it. Blondie turned his head towards George, his eyes opened just a tad. George froze. Blondie turned to the side and closed his eyes once again. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck me. Oh my god. George scrambled out of bed. Looking for his shirt out of all the clothes on the floor. He soon gave up and threw on a random shirt, it obviously wasn't his as it was way too big for his body. George put his phone on the charger before creaking his door open slowly, trying not to wake blondie. He snuck out of his room and turned around. "What the fuck.." His house was a mess. George stood at the top of his slight-spiral dark oak staircase. Confetti was once again everywhere, he stood in disbelief. What looked to be a stage sat up against his wall, infront of the fireplace. He cringed at the mess. "Fuck me"..he whinned. A weird feeling came before him. George jumped at the pressure coming from behind him. Arms wrapped around his waist as someone put their head on George's neck. They quickly let go when George ripped them off his waist and pushed them away. "Dream! Don't scare me like that.." Blondie regained his balance. "What happened?" "-And why do you reek of alcohol?!" George paused. "What do you mean? You don't remember?" Dream ran his fingers through his hair. "Come with me." George grabbed Dream's hand, dragging him downstairs and into the bright white living room. "Btw- we BOTH reek of alcohol." Dream winked at George, gripping his hand tighter. He cringed. George parted his lips, "I"- "And there is someone in the pool." Dream interupted. They both let go of each other's hands as George ran past the kitchen and towards the glass door that led to the backyard. Dream followed, slowly, but followed. George slid open the door, not caring about the fingerprints he'd leave on the thick glass. Dream was right, someone was in the pool, but they had gotten out. Both boys followed the darker trail of cement to a woman. She stood tall, drying herself off with a blue and green towel. "Well, this is awkward." Dream crossed his arms. "Who are you?" George ignored Dream's comment. "I'm Connor, your DJ. Remember?" George blank stared the the woman. "He doesn't remember anything from last night." Dream spoke up. Connor raised her eyebrows, chuckling, she grabbed her bag. "I'll be on my way then. I'll be back again Friday. Don't forget." Connor winked as she let herself both in the glass door, and what sounded to George the frontdoor. George hurried inside, Dream following close behind. "Who's going to clean this up?!" Dream sat on the couch, leaning back to a comfortable position. "Just hire someone, or leave it. A little decor never hurt anyone." His sarcasm was not appreciated by George. A loud alarm of some sort erupted the silence of a death stare. "I'll be right back- don't move." George turned towards the stairs, running up them. He Reached for his phone. "Karl?" The vibrating phone stopped once George hit the green button, acceptibg the call. "Hello?" George began- "You and dream are dating?!" Karl yelled over the phone. "Datinf.." He sighed. "Yah- you posted you and Dream all over instagram-" George clicked off the call and hurried to instagram. He screamed before freezing. He then sat on the edge of his bed. Dream ran up the stairs, racing into George's room and to his side. "Are you okay?!" He asked sincerely with a worried look on his face.. "George?" Dream sat down on the bed next to him, his hand, laying on George's thigh. George handed his phone to Dream without moving his head to make eye contact. "What is it?"- Dream paused, his face lit up like a tomato rolled in hot cheeto dust. "We kissed, so what?"-Dream hadn't realized it was caught on camera last night. He never should have dared to kiss his best friend."So what?!" George's face was red, from anger, or from embarrassment was the question. "Yah, so what? Not like it's a crime." Dream defended his statement, trying not to seem like an ass of George's feelings in all of this. "My parents are going to murder me!" George got off the bed, pacing back and forth.. "Just take the video down, they most likely didn't even see it." Dream responded, trying not to freak out himself; He bounced his right leg. He put his elbow on his leg and held up his head on his hand, just a cover, not wanting George to see how anxious he was. A loud sigh came from George. "Yah.." He snatched his phone from Dream and deleted the videos and his stories about the party. George's pounding head turned into a series of hammer attacks to his skull. He stopped pacing for a moment and bit his lip. Dream observed his behavior and reaction to their conversation. He pat the bed, trying to get George to sit down on it. George turned away from his bed and fell back onto it. He closed his eyes tightly before opening them and exposing tears. Dream frowned at the sight of tears rolling down George's face. He leaned over George, looking from his eyes to his lips and back to his eyes. George broke eye contact, his cheeks turning red once again.."I'm sorry. Please don't cry." Dream said in a soft tone. He put his arms around George, grabbing his torso before rolling him ontop of him. George's head now rested on Dream's chest. "I'm not crying. I'm just tired.." George mumbled. "Then sleep." Dream whispered. A small series of shakes from George's body made Dream hold him even closer. "It's okay to cry.." He rocked him in his arms, "No one will think of you differently. I promise." George's face was pressed into Dream's bare skin, tears rolling down George's cheek onto Dream's torso. "Why.." George started- "Why what?-"..."Why did you kiss me last night?" George lifted his head to look at Dream's 'glowing' green eyes. "I-I'm sorry?" Dream was surprised by the question, the one question he hoped George wouldn't ask him. "You heard me." George exhaled. "I don't know why I kissed you." Dream tilted his head back onto the white, cloth pillowcase, trying end the conversation between the two. "If you don't know why you kissed me, then why did you try to make it seem like it was okay?" George pressured on. Dream held his breath.."It's not bad.." Dream paused; Gathering his thoughts..he gulped at the feeling if George's hand on his chest. "I know it's not bad. I just wanted answers.." George attempted at an apology for making Dream feel uncomfortable. Dream finally exhaled and hugged George tightly before releasing him. "Why'd you let go?" A small sniffle came from George. "I just thought you'd want to move.." Dream slowly put his warm, bony hands on George's back.. "Well, you thought wrong." Both boys settle into each other's body's and take in the warmth. George dozes off as he lets out little snores. Dream closes his eyes, getting ready to fall asleep. A loud rustle comes fron downstairs, "George?!" A person calls out. Footsteps rush up the stairs. Dream shoves George off his chest. He turns over and acts sleep. "George?" Karl opens the door, stopping at the foot of the bed. "Aww.." He admires the two in the bed, leaving their hands being intertwined unnoticed. Karl smiles as he forces himself out the door, he closes it behind him, sneaking off downstairs. Dream lets out a sigh. He turns to look at George's face. A small smile appears on his face when he looks at him. Dream wipes the remainder of tears on George's face and scoots closer to hold him. "That was close." A small chuckle comes from Dream. "He's gone, but we need to figure out what we're going to do." George mumbles, "My flight leaves at 10:45pm. It's a redeye.." Dream states with his eyes staring at George's lips. "What? Already..?" The silence is enough to break a heart. "I'm sorry," George's phone chimes. He reaches over himself to the foot of the bed, grabbing his black phone. Small text appeared in a grey box, "Hey honey! I'm coming back soon, hopefully you didn't have too much fun last night ;)" George freeezes. "What does it say? Who is it from?" Silence covers the whole room. "You're not going anywhere tonight."
