Burke is the new kid at saint Roger's school. Saint Rogers school is a school for gifted and special people. Special people like Burke." You may wonder what's so special about me, well let me tell you about myself. I m a guy with fair skin and honey brown hair heck I don't even know if i should call it hair, it's more of a bird's nest. And I swear no exaggeration but if you put something in my busy curly hair... it will take you ages to find it. Well until and unless the hairdresser works her magic as usual."
I went off topic again didn't I? Anyways what so "Special " about me is that I am blind. Blind as a bat. And yeah this school is for people who are born with disabilities. Yeah see that's so special of me. On an honest note, I don't know why people have to sugarcoat our deformation. We have been living half of our lives this way we have accepted ourselves as what we are and most importantly we have moved on. So stop giving us quotas and calling us special. We just want to be treated normally. Like you would treat any normal person.
Back to saint Rogers, I am a new kid here and today will be my first day at school. Kinda excited and I have a weird wiggly feeling in my stomach. I wore my regular white tee and black skinny jeans swinging my backpack I went downstairs to grab something to eat. And another side note I live alone. Just me and my thoughts.
Since school was fifteen minutes far from my condo I decided to walk as I was quite early to school anyway. But let's say the luck wasn't in my favour today. The weather suddenly became windy more like stormy I was still 10 minutes away from school. And the worst of all my head. "AAAGGGHHHHH, I HATE RAIN" I clutched my head with my hand making a very poor attempt to stop my hair going all over the place. And ran for the nearest shelter, by the time I had reached the shelter it had started pouring really heavily. I stood their for five minutes watching rain pouring down washing away the dried yellow Autumn leaves clearing the weather and regulating clear and fresh air , until I got call from an unknown number.
"Hello, Burke speaking."
"Hello Mr Clegg. Burke Clegg. This is Mr.Cameron speaking from Saint Rogers high school office. We know the weather is really bad but we need you to come to school on time that is immediately. If you are late even by one minute you will be dismissed from the school on your very first day , and without further ado you have five minutes to show up at the main office. Report soon."The call ended. The guy was really rude. But all I know I have to be there in five minutes. The platter of the rain didn't stop me from my running. It was just that my glasses which made me see the world 64 percent were getting water clogged.
Luckily clearing the obstacles I got to the front door of the school. I peeked at my watch which indicated I had a min left.
SPLASHH!!!. Freaking hell. Which side of the bed did I wake up today? I was covered in mud water now and thanks to my white tee which will never be white white again. I looked around for the source which caused this nuisance. I saw a black shiny car the great Honda civic. You listen to me Honda civic.
"You gotta be nutting me".
"Sorry" said a sharp voice.
I turned around just to see a man in his mid twenties stand close to me with an Umbrella in one hand which he held above our head. And three, black yellow and red files in one.He had jet black hair. Wore a dark suit with black tie and silver tie pin engraved with a rose.
His lips were thin and good Italian nose with deep set of dark brown eyes.It felt weird standing with him I dunno what happened but it was strange. I looked down and turned around to leave for the main office. That Cameron guy was going to chew me out today.
I went to the main office for registering myself. There was a lady behind the counter whom I helloed. She was really sweet and quickly hands me the forms to fill out and told me to hurry before Mr Cameron saw me. I arrived to a conclusion that this Cameron guy was dislike by Many.
