You know the feeling as if you are sinking? Going lower and lower into some sort of liquid that is just overtaking you? That's how I feel. I mean I have good things, I have a great family. And lot's of things going for me. But, this feeling.. I just can't seem to shake it off. It never seems to go away. Some days.. It's as if I'm stuck in this sticky goop and my body doesn't even want to try to get out. I just sit there and keep falling. So I don't have to breathe or deal with anything.. Nobody wants to help. And the funny thing is, I don't want any body to help either.

My dad, he moves around a lot for his job. Which he takes me along. Mum died awhile back.. I don't really remember her. Just that she smelled like perfume all the time and had bright green eyes, like mine. Dad says I look like her, I don't know what she looked like so I can't protest. I don't really know if it would be a good thing to look like my mum or not.. I have so many questions about her though.. Well anyways, since dad has been chosen to work on this new show he created called X Factor, we are moving to England. I lived there when I was young, I still have my accent. And now we are moving back, which I am really excited about. It's a new way to start over. Maybe this time things will go good? I sure hope so.. I can't take the feeling anymore of drowning. It's impossible to live with. Well, I'm also nervous of things happening. Like bad things.. You know what i'm saying? Probably not. It's just terrifying to start over new as it is good.

I pushed off the extra clothes on my bed making room for me to plop down. I have to get everything packed before 4, and it is already 3:00. I sat up and grabbed the piles of clothes, on the ground now. I shoved them into my bag and zipped it up.

"That's everything." I said more to myself, than to my dad.

"You done yet, Jo?" He asked walking in. I nodded and looked over all the boxes and bags around my room. It's gonna be hard to leave this place.. I grew up in this house.

He set down the box in his hands and hugged me, "Don't be sad Ab. You are going to love the new house! You have your own bathroom for your room and everything, Love." He smiled.

"Thanks, Dad." I said, hugging back. He took a holdof the boxes on the ground and I helped, bringing them out to the moving van. Dad went over and talked to the movers about being sure to be careful with our stuff and crap. We had to leave to go on our plane. We hopped inside the car and rode to the airport. We had to go through security and boring shit like that. It took forever, with everyone yelling, "Is that Simon Cowell?!" in every direction. Dad signed some stuff and we were finally aloud to go on the plane. I got onto the plane with Dad and we stuffed our duffel bags in the top compartments. I found my seat and sat down. Dad was across the aisle. Atleast not as many people noticed him on here. A girl, about 15 was sitting next to me.

She looked at me and smiled. "Hey, I'm Lydia."

"Ello, I'm Abby. Some people call me by my middle name, Jo. But I go by either." I smiled back.

"I like Jo. I'm gonna call you that!" she announced. We laughed and I could see she had a t-shirt on saying 'LYDIA HAS THE X FACTOR'

"You're trying out for X Factor..?" I said with a smile.

She answered, "Oh.. Yeah. Kinda embarrassing.."

"Don't be embarrassed! My dad created it.." I stated pointing to Dad.

Her eyes grew wide as she sat there with her mouth open.

"Please don't freak?" I asked.

She calmed down a bit but still sat there. "So are your parents with you?" I tried changing the subject.

"No. They couldn't afford to come so I'm just gonna rent a hotel or something." She said.

I looked over at Dad, he and I were thinking the same thing and he nodded. I smiled and mouthed 'thanks!'

"Would you like to stay with us?" I asked.

"Really? Oh.. I couldn't.." She said looking down.

"I insist." Dad said smiling at her.

"Okay." Lydia smiled wide and started to play with her hair.

"Soo, How old are you?" She asked me.

"15. How about you?" I replied.

"16 next month." She smiled and continued with braiding.

*After the plane ride and pulling into drive way."

"THIS is your house?!" Lydia excaimed as we pulled into the gates.

"I....I guess so..!" I almost screamed as we pulled up. It was a giant house, Mansion, and it had glass windows everywhere.. It really was a beautiful house! We walked around and suddenly I found my room. It was painted purple, and there were posters and really cool graphics. Exactly how I wanted it. Lydia was sharing my room with me and I couldn't believe it!

I set down my bag inside my new room and fell into my bed. immediately loving it. Lydia fell next to me. I could tell we were going to be good friends.

"I'm going to take a shower." I said taking some clothes out of my bag.

"Alright. Im going to once your done." She stated with a smile. I smiled back and walked into the bathroom. Admiring it. This is going to be a good life.
