Just Another Overnight Billionaire

"Sophie!" My older brother yelled at the top of his lungs. "What?" I yelled . "Mellie is sick again!"

He yelled again. "Sophie!" My younger sister Gabriella screamed. "What is it Gabbie?" I asked.

"Tommie and Margaux are hungry." She said pointing to the new twins that my older brother picked up.

"Sophie! Bring Mellie to the doctor hurry!" My older brother Samuel yelled.

"Okay just wait!" I said as I ran down the rusty floorboards of our "house".

"Sophie when are we going to eat? We haven't gotten to eat for three days already!" Our third to the eldest girl Nicole said.

"I'll buy you something to eat just wait okay?" I said as I slipped on my old slippers that Samuel bought me years ago.

"Here's Mellie, I have to go to work now so bye!" Samuel said as he waived to a woman outside which he described as his "customer"

Which disgusted me a lot. Since he leaves at nine in the morning and comes back drunk with the smell of the "customers" he brings Home.

As I took Mellie from his hands, I started seeing why he wanted to rush me. Mellie's usual bronze tan was replaced with a pale and sickly color.

As I entered the nearest clinic possible, the doctor of the clinic suddenly came to me and simply said "Out!" . "What the heck?" I replied. "I said scram! Go! Get lost! Exit! I don't think you can even pay for the fees! Shoo! Trash like you should stay as trash! He said as he dragged me to the exit.

As soon as I exited that damned clinic I started crying. Not because he said I was trash , but because Mellie was sick."Sophie?" I heard her weak quavering voice say. "Yeah Mel?" I said trying not to look at her short blond hair and her warm brown eyes. "There's something wrong isn't there?" She said with her small voice. "No there isn't. There is nothing at all. When you wake up I'll feed all of us until our stomachs all explode and you'll have brand new clothes. So for now you should sleep." I said to reassure her, but inside I've always known that I'm the one reassuring myself.
