- S A V A N N A H -A knock on my door interrupted my reading, setting the book face down on my bed I call. "Come in!" Remaining seated in my bed as the door slowly opens revealing Pepper. "Oh, hey mom. What's up?" I ask, she just smiles at me and sits on the edge of my bed. "Well I came up here to tell you Logan is here. He's talking to Natasha downstairs." She says with a smile on her face. "Finally! I've been waiting all afternoon for him." I complain, making Pepper chuckle.
Logan is my boyfriend, I met him at school two years ago and since last year we've been dating. I love Logan although I haven't told him. I don't know for sure if we're on the same page and I wouldn't want to rush him.
"Well I'm going downstairs, you coming?" I ask. "I'll catch up in a bit" She says, looking around my bedroom. "Alright" I shrug, walking downstairs.
Walking into the dining room I see everyone scattered around in different places. Wanda and Vision are standing by the fireplace talking, Steve and Tony are in the kitchen drinking a beer together, Clint is by himself watching television, and then I spot Nat and Logan laughing together by the dining room table. I walk over to them with a smile.
"Hey! What are you two talking about?" I question, inserting myself in the conversation. "We we're talking about you actually." Logan admits. "I hope nothing bad." I say, my smile slowly fading. "Of course not" Natasha assures. I nod at her, I open my mouth to speak when Pepper interrupts me. "The food is ready!" She yells. Everyone starts gathering around the table and finding their seats. "Just to remind you all, our newest avenger is having dinner with us." Tony adds. Clint rolls his eyes at Tony's reminder. "Do you have something to say Clint?" Tony says, raising an eyebrow. "Actually yeah, I think it's a stupid idea to be recruiting a kid into the avengers." Clint comments.
"You don't get a say in anything, so if I were you I'd suck it up because starting today he will be here more almost everyday." Tony snaps. Clint silence is enough of an answer to Tony. "Anyway.. Savannah could you help me with serving the food?" Pepper asks. "Sure" I agree, standing up and walking over to Pepper."Mom what are they talking about? Who's being recruited as an avenger" I ask, helping Pepper fill the glasses. "I'm not sure, you'd have to ask your father." She responds. Nodding I bring the bowl of salad to the table, my mom behind me carrying the bowl of pasta.
Hearing someone knocking at the door silences the table, Tony pushing his chair out to get the door. "It's okay dad, I'll get it." I stop him, I'm curious who the newest avenger is and I wanted to find out.
"I'll be back." I whisper to Logan who is conversating with Nat again. He doesn't respond and continues talking with her. "Okay then." I mumble to myself trying not be annoyed with Logan.
Walking closer to the door I hear two voices outside. I swing the door open..
It's almost dinner time by now and Pepper was making dinner for everyone tonight including my boyfriend. Logan Moore. I'm only with him because my dad adores him and I don't want my dad to hate my boyfriend because that wouldn't be pretty."Dinner is ready. So now we're just waiting for Logan and Peter to arrive" Pepper announced.
Ah yes, Peter Parker. He is one of my best friends although it can get rather frustrating when my dad gives Peter Special treatment and treats him like the son he never got. I have been told a couple times after my mother died Tony hasn't acted the same. The group of people at the table were, myself, Tony, Pepper, Natasha, Wanda, Clint, Bruce, Thor, and Steve. Scott Lang was here for a couple days, and left yesterday morning. I have no idea why he was here but it was nice to see him.
