SORIN

My eyes slowly open, my surroundings all white. It was so peaceful. No more shouting, no more arguments and no more pain. This was what I have wanted. I never asked for anything more than this.

The voices are gone, the bruises are gone, the sight of blood was gone, everything was gone. But I still felt so sad and empty. It's like I have been craving for someone to love me. I know Charlie loves me. But, I want someone to hold me, kiss me.

But that I know I can never achieve. My time has come.

"We're gonna lose him!" One of the staffs said, trying to keep Sorin's faint heartbeat from dying out. The whole operation finished after an hour.

The Blacks were sitting near the reception area, their eyes filled with tears. They didn't want Sorin's life to be sacrificed. Sorin being shot wasn't supposed to happen. They were supposed to keep him safe and unhurt. It was until they failed.

"The Black family?" The doctor called out, their heads snapping towards the doctor before quickly walking towards him. "How is he, doctor?? Is he alright? Please, tell us." Derek asked, worry washing over his voice as he looked at the doctor desperately. "Well, I have both good news and bad news. Which do you prefer hearing first, gentlemen?" The doctor said calmly, looking at them through his glasses. "The good news." Carlos said, his voice deep.

"Well, good news is he's alive. He's a strong kid. But, bad news is he's barely hanging on. His heart beat is so faint. There was a lot of blood loss and the bullet almost touched his intestines. It would be difficult to take out the bullet. It would either injure him forever. Or kill him if we slack off. Of course, we wouldn't slack off but, there could be a possibility he could die." He explained to the Black's.

They all looked at the doctor with horror and sadness in their faces. Hayden's eyes had salty tears in them, trying so hard not to choke out even the slightest sob. The others practically did the same.

"But you know. There is another good news." Another voice came in. Silas. He was wearing his black suit with no tie. "What the fuck are you doing here, Silas?" Damien growled while tears fell off his cheeks until it fell to his lap.

"I'm here to say my goodbyes to Sorin." He said in a gentle voice. "I'm leaving this place for good. I don't want Sorin to see me. All I know is that if I am with him again, he'll be hurt all over again." The four brothers were shocked as they stared at Silas. "By then, you wouldn't be able to worry about me taking Sorin because I won't. No matter how much I love, I have to leave him." He said with his voice breaking slightly. It made the boys feel sorry for him but quickly regained back to their cold attitudes.

Silence overcame the whole room before Silas slowly spoke after a minute; "He'll survive. I know Sorin. He overcame so much pain. And I know he can overcome this one." Well, at least the four brothers and the father finally have hope back.

SORIN

I sat on the ground for a good 5 minutes before getting up slowly, walking at the never-ending white room. It was until I blinked and the scenery changed to a beautiful forest. The tree's trunk had green veins, the ground had a handful of grass, which was perfect. I looked around and saw a shallow tree log, green grass all over it. It was perfect. I walked over it before sitting. I blinked again and looked up, seeing a lady in front of me.

Mom.

Tears started filling my eyes as I looked at her beautiful form. Her black hair was curly, her black curtain bangs hanging slowly. Her white dress was like the 1800's dress. Off shoulders and long sleeves. The whole outfit was made of, what looks like silk. She was beautiful. She had pretty, brown eyes and a small smile plastered her plump lips.

"Sorin." She calls out gently, slowly sitting down next to the crying boy. She slowly pulls him into a hug. It was tight but not too tight. "Listen to mama, okay Sorin?" She says as she pulls away from the hug, slowly stroking his cheeks.

"Yes." Sorin replied as he sniffled lightly. "Sorin, you cannot die. Not for now. Your brothers need you. Your father needs you. And no, not Mateo but Carlos." She said as she looked at the boy with pity. "No. I wanna stay with you. I-I can't go back. I just can't." He said as he sobbed lightly. "Sorin. Please, I don't want you to separate yourself from your brothers and father. Including Charlie. So please."

"Live for me."

3RD PERSON

It has been a week and Sorin is not awake yet. Charlie looked at the Sorin with sadness through his puffy eyes. He has been crying ever since the night Derek announced that Sorin was shot pretty badly. "Sir, is it alright if you could allow the others to come in?" The nurse said with a gentle voice. Charlie nodded slowly. Of course he allowed them to see him. When he saw Derek announce to him about Sorin, his eyes were filled with sadness, anger and depression. So maybe, he could give them a chance to redeem themselves and finally let them sit next to Sorin until he wakes up.

Charlie then left the room, allowing the four of them to go inside slowly, sitting on the chairs as they looked at the sleeping Sorin. The other three brothers left except, for Derek. It was 11 p.m. and the hospital didn't care when they leave. They can stay there anytime so it was good for Derek.

Derek then said; "Sorin, please wake up. I need you. I need you awake... I want to see you all well, please. I'm so fucking sorry for the wrong deeds I have done. I-I'm just such a fucking horrible person for doing those stuff a-and I was so fucking dumb to even realize how much you've been hurting and how much you've been craving for our love and care. I'm so sorry, Sorin. I don't care if you won't forgive me, as long as you're awake, well, happy and lively. Though I could never be with you after what I have done to shatter you, I just hope you find the right one. A better person."

Derek had tears in his eyes, choking out sobs as he kneeled down to Sorin, clenching on the white sheets as he continued to cry. "Sorin, please. Wake up."

Tears continued to fall off his eyes before he felt fingers slowly running through his hair.

"I'm awake, love."
