A Death In The Family

(Prepare for some violence and triggering themes ahead in this chapter)

Anne's Parents, along with the Plantars and Ivy were having some lunch, so far things were looking great for them, Darcy was in prison, nothing bad was happening, so it seems everything would turn out ok. Anne's mom said "I'm so glad Anne finally got herself a girlfriend right?" And then Mr. Boonchuy said "It's amazing seeing how far she's come after she went to Amphibia for the first time. Seeing her become the hero she is today just fills me with pride." Anne's mother then said "I just wish there was a way to show just how proud I am of my daughter." Then Hop Pop said to her "I think she already knows. I'm just as proud of her as you are, I know I'm not her grandfather, but she certainly feels like a granddaughter to me, when she first got trapped in Amphibia, it was me and my children who took care of her for a while, we became a family. And seeing her become the type of person she is now definitely hits me the same way it does for you. I can totally relate." Polly then said "I'm just glad everything turned out ok. And now we can visit each other whenever we like. Imagine if Anne and her friends could never come to Amphibia again and lost their powers too, that would be like, super cliche am I right?" Everyone laughed at that. Ivy said "Yeah glad that didn't happen. But have any of you seen Marcy? I haven't seen her all day." But before anyone could say anything, the President got a phone call from the prison. "Hello?" He asked. "The guy on the phone shouted "SIR! DARCY HAS ESCAPED! THEY'RE LOOSE IN THE PRISO-AAAAAHH!!!" He heard the guy get slaughtered by Darcy on the phone. "Oh shit." He said. He looked at the group and said "We have a major situation, Darcy is breaking out! We need to call the calamity gods and warn them so we can stop them." Mrs. Boonchuy said "Don't worry, I'll call them!" As she started calling Anne, the President looked at the frogs and asked "Are you guys good with fighting?" And Ivy said "Heck yeah! Come on we helped Anne fight in a war!" And so the President said "Ok good, your coming with us then, lets move." 
Meanwhile, Anne and Sasha were enjoying each other's company at a fancy restaurant. Before suddenly Anne got a call from her Mom. "Hang on a sec." She said. Then her Mother shouted into the phone. "Anne! Darcy is breaking out of the prison." Anne spat out her drink and shouted "Wait what?!!" And her Mom replied "Yeah! We're on our way there to stop them now! But we can't stop them without you! Do you know where Marcy is??!" And Anne replied "No I haven't seen her all day!" And her Mom replied "Well, there's no time to go looking for her, we need to stop Darcy!" And so Anne said "Alright, we're on our way!" She hung up the phone and said to Sasha, "Sorry that we gotta cut this date short but we have to stop Darcy." And Sasha replied "Don't worry it's alright." And they ran out of the building, they activated their powers as their calamity armor materialized onto them and they blasted off into the air. They flew to the prison and as they got there, so did the President, the Plantars, Ivy and Anne's parents. They went inside and entered the elevator, once they got to the bottom floor the President typed the code to open the vault door, they ran through the tunnels, they could hear screams in the distance. "That must be Darcy!" Yelled Sprig. Anne said to them "Stay here where it's safe, we got this." Sasha and Anne entered the room where the screams were coming from, they saw dead bodies all over the floor. And then, out of the shadows came Darcy. "Well, hello there!" They said. Sasha looked at them and noticed that their energy shield was gone. "Hey! The energy shield we put around you is gone! No wonder you got out so easily!" Darcy looked at them both and said "So, how do you want to die?!" As they pulled out both their sword and scythe. But then, suddenly, a massive force shoved Anne and Sasha to the side, and in came Marcy. Sasha looked at her and asked "Marcy what the hell are you doing?!" And Marcy said "What's best for the world and myself..." Anne asked "What are you talking about?!" And Marcy replied "I... I let Darcy free." And Sasha who was shocked by this yelled "MARCY WHAT THE FUCK!? WHY??!" And Marcy replied "Darcy offered me something, a chance to escape to a world where the sins of my past cannot follow me, the hive mind of the core. I no longer will have to worry about the past anymore, and you both can finally stop worrying about me, it's for the best." Anne then shouted "BUT DARCY WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING HERE AND IT WILL BE ALL YOUR FUALT FOR LETTING THEM FREE!" But then Marcy replied "I made a deal with them, I told them not to destroy all life on Earth! From now on, they will only conquer worlds that don't have life on them! This world doesn't deserve me, and I don't deserve to be alive anymore, I'm joining the mind of the core to be free... It's the only way Anne, no one's gonna forgive me for all the pain I caused by a stupid mistake I made. I'm not even sure you forgive me either! NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE ME! BECAUSE I DON'T DESERVE IT! SO I'M JOINING THE MIND OF THE CORE NOW WHERE I CAN BE FREE, SO STAY OUT OF THIS BEFORE YOU GET YOURSELF HURT!" Anne shouted "MARCY NO!!!" But Marcy just shoved her back, she approached the core and asked "So how do I fuse my mind with you?" But then, Darcy laughed and said "Oh MarMar, you really are an idiot. Did you really think we'd allow such an inferior and worthless little insignificant mind like yours into our superior mind?!" When Marcy heard that, she felt like her heart just stopped, she felt like she got stabbed by king Andrias all over again. She then said "But... but you promised!" But Darcy replied "And we lied! we only wanted to break out of that jail cell so we can continue our glorious conquest to destroy all life on this world! And you along with them!!!" Marcy fell to her knees as Sasha yelled "MARCY HOW COULD YOU?! NOW DARCY IS FREE!!!" Then Darcy said "Now you all have the info on the location of the last gem that we need, and we'll get that info no matter what!!!" Marcy got up and activated her powers but still not enough to make her armor appear, she still wasn't ready for that yet, and then Anne said "Alright calamity gods, we need to restrain them now!" Sasha lunged at Darcy but Darcy punched her away, then Anne warped over to them and punched them, but then Darcy just slapped her back. Then Marcy zapped at them with green electricity, but Darcy didn't seemed stunned at all, then, Anne and Darcy shot bolts of electricity at each other as their energy collided, then, Anne lunged at Darcy but Darcy grabbed her by the throat, then Sasha warped over to Darcy but Darcy saw her coming and picked her up by the throat too. They started choking the two calamity gods that were in their hands before Marcy shot her crossbow at Darcy, Darcy didn't seem hurt but was definitely angered, they threw Sasha and Anne away and then Marcy ran at them, Darcy pulled out their sword and swung it at Marcy, Marcy ducked under it but tripped in the process, she got up to see Darcy jump into the air and swing their sword down onto her, she got out of the way just in time, she pulled out her own sword as the two of them started clashing their swords against each other, bolts of orange and green electricity were going everywhere as they fought. Marcy kept blocking all of Darcy's attacks desperately trying not to get killed, but then, Darcy punched her causing her to fall to the ground, Darcy walked over to her and was about to stab her before being shot by a bullet, the bullet bounced off of their armor, they looked at where it came from and saw a few FBI agents show up shooting at them, Darcy brought their hands out and fired orange electricity at them, causing them to combust on the spot, leaving massive puddles of blood. Then Sasha ran at them but then, they grabbed her and was about to inject their extraction needle into her brain but then Marcy zapped at them, Darcy threw Sasha aside and said to Marcy "You know why we like going by the name Darcy now? It's because we enjoyed making you suffer, every second of it, and seeing how it has all affected you now is like music to us." An enraged Marcy zapped Darcy in the face, knocking them to the ground, Marcy got on top of them and started punching them in frustration and anger.
