After Beverly got to the house to watch Maggie, Eddie and Richie road their bikes to the diner in comfortable silence. Richie held the door of the diner open for Eddie "lady's first" he said with a smirk on his face "fuck you Richie" Eddie said as he giggled and walked into the diner and sat at a table across from Richie

After they ordered they started talking about many things, the topic of the conversation switching every few minutes. "Can I ask you something?" Eddie said looking down at the table "yeah Ed's, what's up?" He replied "I uh..I was wandering, why did you help me yesterday?" Richie just stared at Eddie for a second "because you needed help and no one else was helping so I did." He said "but weren't you scared? I mean like it was bowers! Everyone is scared of him" Richie looked at Eddie "well I'm not, I can beat his ass easily" he said proudly and Eddie laughed a bit.

After their date the two of them went back to Richie house and ended up falling asleep on his bed. But then they heard banging on his door and Richie jolted awake along with Eddie, who hid in the closet. "Open the fucking door!" Richies father yelled and Richie opened the door "what-" he was cut of by a pain in his face from his father slapping him "I told you to clean the fucking house." Fear bubbled up in Richies chest as he tried to speak but was cut of by his dad whipping him across the stomach with his belt, causing him to fall to the ground.

Richies dad didn't stop whipping him until Richie was bleeding and shaking on the ground and then he left. Eddie ran out of the closet with tears in his eyes and tan to Richie "holy shit are you okay!?" He said trying to figure out how to help in that moment "m-mhm I'm fine" Richie said sitting up and Eddie helped bandage the parts of him that where bleeding the most. Richie just looked at Eddie, his beautiful hair, his eyes, the way his face looked when he was concentrating. Everything about him was just..perfect.

When he finished, Eddie hugged Richie "please tell me if this happens again okay?..I can help.." Richie only nodded and stayed hugging Eddie for a while, never wanting to let go.
