In this au quirks don't exist, bakugou and midoriya are bestfriends. Midoriya has a talent of singing and dancing but he's embarrassed to let everyone know, only his moms knows about this and respects his decision. Both of them are in college, they stay in the dorms so they meet each other alot. But ever since bakugou got into a relationship, midoriya had been avoiding him. Midorya is Bi here, he's also dense so he doesn't know the difference between romantic and platonic feelings.
Bakugou just got heart broken by his ex-gf after finding out she was cheating on him with a another man.
'I would never fall inlove again..' He promised himself.
It was midnight and bakugou couldn't fall asleep, he keeps saying he's moved on and act as if she doesn't exist but his heart was left with a painful scar that he wanted to get rid of.
He stood up from his bed, decided he would take a walk around. He went outside his dorm room not waking up his roommate (kiri) as he started to regret not bringing a jacket.
Midorya always dance and sing secretly whenever it hits midnight in the gym near the dorms, He would always ask the teacher for the keys in the gym so they just gave him a duplicate so he wouldn't ask them over and over.
It was a peaceful cold night, VERY COLD night, for katsukis point of view but he's not gonna let the cold hold him back so he kept walking. He then heard music playing from the gym, curious he went to check what it was and why is there music blasting at this time of night.
And there he saw something he didn't thought he would see, something that he didn't expect even in dreams, his childhood bestfriend is dancing so.. He didn't even know how to describe it, so.. Beautifully? Elegantly? Extraordinarily amazing? He can't choose which one fits right but he knows all of those words are nothing compared from the view he's currently seeing.
'I would never fall inlove again..'
"Fuck.." he cursed under his breath while staring at the wonderful view he's seeing, his heart were pounding so loudly that he could hear it despite the music blasting.
'Why him out of all people..'
