This Love Is Ours (Sequel to Chadwick's Sister)

Chapter Three

Caitlyn's POV
The day I've been waiting for, for the past four years. I was finally graduating from college. I had taken classes on campus but stayed at home instead of the dorms. I never imagined myself being engaged and pregnant on the day of my college graduation. But you know what, I wouldn't change it for the world.

I finally finished curling my hair and doing my makeup. I paint my nails and put my dress on. As well as spraying on some perfume I slip on my heels before grabbing my cap and gown. I go into the living room where Wes is sitting down on the couch in his suit.

"You look beautiful." He says getting up and giving me a kiss.

"Thanks, you don't look bad yourself." I say and he smiles.

"Thank you. You ready to go?" He asks and I nod. We walk down the stairs to the front door. We walk out and make our way over to Wes's car. We get in and start heading over to the school.

We finally get to the arena of the college and I'm super excited yet super nervous. We walk in and find Keaton, Lairaine, Breezy and Brooke were all sitting down.

"Hi guys." I say as we walk up to them and give them all hugs.

"You look beautiful Caut." Lairaine says and I smile.

"You excited?" Keaton asks and I nod.

"Very." I say and they all laugh.

"Oh my gosh Cait!" I hear from behind me. I turn around seeing on of my best friends in my class, Reina. We've been friends since freshman year, her boyfriend was one of my best friends in high school so that's how we met.

"Reina! It feels like I haven't seen you in forever."

"I know! Let me see that rock in person." She says referring to my engagement ring. I laugh before showing her the ring that sits perfectly on my left hand. "You better be with Kyle when he picks mine out." She says and I laugh. "Speaking of Kyle, he told me about the bun in the oven. Congratulations you two." She tells Wes and I.

"Thanks, we're really excited." Wes says and I nod in agreement.

"Well we have to go get our pictures taken before the ceremony so we'll see you guys later." I tell Lairaine and all of them. I give them all a hug before giving Wes a hug and a kiss. "Love you."

"Love you too." He says before Reina and I walk down to get our pictures taken.

"Do you guys know what you're having yet?" Reina asks.

"No, I'm only a few weeks. So we won't find out for a while."

"That's exciting. I can't believe you guys are getting married soon and are already expecting your first kid." She says and I smile.

"Yeah, we're really excited."

"Where's the wedding gonna be?"

"The same place he asked me to be his girlfriend and proposed."

"Awe that's gonna be cute." She says as we get in line.

"Don't worry you and Kyle are invited." I say as we both laugh.

After we take our pictures we go and sit down. I look up over at Wes and he winks out me before mouthing 'I love you' I smile before mouthing back 'I love you too'

Wes's POV
We see Cait's row get up and walk up to the side of the stage. I'm so happy for her and proud of her. I know our baby would be so proud of their mom.

"Caitlyn Marie Chadwick." The dean of the college of business says.

We all clap and cheer for her, and the smile on her face was priceless. She grabs her diploma before sitting back down. She looks over at me and smiles I give her a thumbs up and she lets out a small giggle.

Caitlyn's POV
Once the graduation ceremony was over I went and found Wes and the rest of the gang. I walk up to them and Wes gives me a hug before picking me up and spinning me around. I giggle before pecking his lips. He sets me down and I talk to rest.

"I'm so so so proud of you." Lairaine says hugging me.

"Thank you so much."

"Congrats sis." Keaton says hugging me.

"Thanks little bro." I say causing him to smile. I then give everyone else a hug.

"Well should we start heading to the house for dinner?" Lairaine asks and we all nod.

We get to the Stromberg house and I'm kinda excited. I'm just really happy that I finally graduated and can now focus on starting my business, planning the wedding as well as Wes and I's growing family. We all walk in and we're met by some of my family, some of Wes's family as well as our friends and family friends.

"Surprise!" They all shout, causing me to smile.

"You guys did all this for me?" I ask and they all nod smiling. "Thank you so much." I say giving each of them a hug. I start walking around saying hi to everyone and just catching up with those I haven't seen in a while.

Wes was talking to some friends out in the backyard and I was in the kitchen with Breezie and Lairaine talking to some family friends when all the sudden my aunt walks in. This is great. She's the one aunt that Drew and I hated.

"Oh Caitlyn dear. It's so nice to see you." She says hugging me.

"Oh Katherine. Hi." I say, not really wanting to see her.

"So where's this fiancé of yours I keep hearing everyone talking about?"

"Wes is out in the back."

"Oh. And what about this baby everyone's buzzing about?"

"Yeah we're expecting soon."

"Well good luck with that. I have to get going dear. Good luck and I'll talk soon." She says before leaving.

Wes and I get back to our apartment after the graduation party, and I'm absolutely exhausted. We walk upstairs and I go straight into our bedroom. I get in our room kicking off my heels before changing into spandex and a t-shirt. I plop down in the bed, soon followed by Wes.

"I love you." He tells me.

"I love you too." I tell him before wrapping my arms around his neck. "Thanks for the party tonight. I really had fun."

"Anything for my girl." He says, and I smile. "Goodnight baby Stromberg." He says rubbing my stomach.
