Chapter One
I hear my dad calling through my loud headphones. He's probably calling for me to pray. I think Pray Call was a while ago. I should hurry so i take my headphones off and go downstrairs.
"Are you deaf? I've been calling for the past two minutes! We've all prayed, go wash yourself off to do that too, if you'd like Mrs." He says, ironically with a tone of anger.
"Okay, sorry. I was just listening to a podcast."
Lie. I was listening to Lithium by Nirvana but he absolutely doesnt need to know that.I do the deed. I go back to my room and re-read my new school's program. I start tomorrow and if i dont poop my pants by tonight i dont know what. Im so visibly nervous it's embarrassing.
Thing is, my whole life, i went to an all girls school, but high school in that category is not available in my area, so high school is going to be more of a struggle than i expected.
I start getting ready for bed, hoping i wont mess up and get an unexpected nickname on my first day of twosexeshighschool.•••
What? Morning already? I let out, probably the biggest sigh ever. Mom already calling in for breakfast so i hurry getting ready.
Once breakfast is done, i get in the car and let me spare you the lecture. No dating, no boys, no sex, bla, bla. Whatever. As if i was bold enough to even look a guy in the eye.
We arrive. Just realized everybody comes in their own cars, not driven by their mothers. Ugh, great, attentions already on me for that.I get in, walk through the hallways, it says in the email from the school's counselor that my locker is Number 11. Good, not too far from my classes, just good enough. My bag is way too heavy for me to carry around so i start placing my books inside of it. Once I'm done, I smash the locker door so it can close properly, and goodness.
