Lost Regrets

Chapter one

I began to slow my pace, in the crowded hallways of kingsville High school. Irritating the people behind me that scurry from class to class, it always seemed to amuse me watching the frustration fall over there face, as they try and figure there way around people blocking there path! "Ding" "Ding"
"There's that stupid bell again" I heard In a faint voice creeping up behind me.
"Oh hey Ally" I mumbled out

She walked up to me, her blonde highlighted hair seemed to flow perfectly above her hips. Her skin still pale but flushed with pink tint in her checks and lips. She usually wore all black and a pair of converse or sneakers.

"Woah, wake up a little late ken because you look... Ummm , we'll .. Interesting" She gave me a weird look along with her comment

"Pff yeah, I only got two hours of sleep I stayed up obsessing over fictional characters and two minute Nutella cakes"
"Oh my" she smirked and let out a little laugh, hey why not just skip mrs.Hudseds class, were late anyways!
Yeah alright I sluggishly agreed, I pulled my keys out from my bag and proceeded to head towards the school door.
We decided to head to a new smoothie shop that just opened up near a non-populated strip mall.

"And one mango pineapple" I added
I headed towards the register to pay when I get a phone call.
"Shit" it's my mom, I rush to pay and return home before she beats me reder than ally's strawberry smoothie.
After dropping ally off and rehearsing my words in my head, I began to unlock and enter my house.
I'm greeted by my sister Amethyst
Who openly gives me a big hug and asks me how my day was.
This didn't seen right, what did she want!
"So can you take me to my friend Rachel's later today" pretty please with a cherry and mangoes on top she quickly added
"We'll mangoes are my favorite, I'll take you"
"Yay" she squealed a little
Then I heard it.... The footsteps
It was like a giant coming to crash down on my little world, BOOM, BAM, BOOM, BAM! She turns the corner from the hallway leading to the back bedrooms.
"Oh hey mah, my madre, madam, mam.... Love you" I began to sputter something about how she looked pretty today but interrupted with
" I got a call from your school"
"Listen Kennedy I know you don't like school but you still have to go, it's your senior year and your going to finish whether you like it or not and if any more of phone calls from school bother me At work, were gonna have more than words" she said in a raised and angered tone
"I'm sorry it's just"
"It's just nothing" she cut me off
Damn I can't even finish a sentence I mumbled under my breath as I stormed into my room now my feet clashing against the ground like a giant destroying some fairytale.
A light knock taps at my door in a sweet calming rhythm.
"Come in" I yell
Amethyst walks through the light wooden door frame and begun to speak softly I could barley head her
"Speak my child" I spoke in a very awkward and sarcastic voice
"Will you take me to my friends house now she asked"
Oh yeah I almost forgot about that
"Sure we just have to stop by the gas station in our way"
Sounds good she said as she trailed back down the hallway
I grabbed my light blue hightop converse, laced them up and looked in the mirror to double check if I still looked eww..... That was a yes my medium length brown hair frizzed to an untamed wave and my freckles were popping from my face un able to
Hide.
"Oh we'll" I sighed
Grabbed my keys and my sister and raced through the door
We sang our hearts out on the way up to me dropping her off
Then I remembered I needed gas, what a buzzkill I thought
We pulled into an 82 gas station I could feel the humid air of Texas on my face.
