it was a sunny morning in the middle of july just after you had broken up for summer break and you were ready to enjoy it.

you made plans to go out skating with your friends at the local skate park and were about to leave to meet them when your phone rang

"hey sweetie be careful at the park ok" your mum said "yes mum, i will dont worry" you said almost smiling, you were almost 18 now and your mum still said this stuff, you didn't mind though

locking the door behind you, you made your way to the park and saw your friends all in a corner chatting, excitedly you ran up to them "heyy Val" said one of your friends, your actual name was Valentina but you prefered Val, "heyyy" you responded and hugged her, that was your best friend gabby, she was your favourite person and had long flowing locks of blonde hair that you adored

"you wanna go and do some tricks over there" one of your friends asked you while pointing towards a free corner of the skatepark "sure" you replied grinning

nothing could ruin this perfect summer you were about to enjoy.
