Chapter One: The beauty of a Friend

Finally it was all over. That eternal prison, where parents intentionally disown their children from 7:30 to 3:00.
School!!!
Thank God it was over--- for today.
At least I can unwind, kick my legs up, raise my glass----of lemonade---- and say 'fuck this bullshit.

'Uh uh, legs off babe', my legs were shoved down the cafeteria table by bae aka sandy.
We started dating last summer, woohoo. And I meant that. He was awesome, the best.
'Really, 'babe'?', Abby asked. 'That's what you'd call her now?'.
Along with all my friends: Abby, and Louis.
'jealous much, Abby?', Louis said.
'No. I just think that objectifies women', Abby replied.
Me and Louis laughed it off. One thing, sandy didn't find it funny.

Hi. I'm Tamara and this is my story. This might sound and look like just another chick flick story, but do bear with me. It holds more.
Me, sandy, Louis, and Abby have been best friends all our lives. Their parents moved over to our estate few years before we were born.
Of equal age, but Louis acts like he's older. With his golden blond hair and captivating blue eyes, handsome personality and feature, he is the official girl killer. He literally breaks heart for fun.

'Hey!!! I do not', Louis retorted, frowning at the camera I pointed at his face.
'Oh. Shut it. You so do that', Abby frowned at her but instead, he smiled at her, showing his perfect dentals. If a smile could kill, Abby would be 7 feet under.
I moved the camera over to Abby.
'And this right here, is our sadist---- whoops, bold woman. She believes in equality of all sexes, yea, really tell me about it, and lasagna beats mac and cheese'.
'Tamara', she pleaded.
'Ok.ok. Good stuffs. Bold, talented. A 5'7 in height, perfect grey eyes, honey coloured hair....'.

'Let's not forget slutty now', Louis said, I flipped the camera over to him. That got him a slap on the back of his head.
'That was one time', Abby said. 'Cut that last part out, T'.
'Of course it was', sandy said laughing. That got him a scrowl.

'Hold on guys, I gat to get something to drink', I said, passing that camera round to Abby.
'No sweat babe. I'll get it', Sandy said.
'Thanks. You're my hero', I said all sweet like.

'Uh, gag me', Abby said, making gagging sounds.
I kissed sandy before he left.
"And that was my bae, sandy. Total hottie, right guys?', I asked. Abby was filming it all.
'He's got the most perfect brown eyes, like moi. Kissable lips, and hot ass if I may add', I said, sliding down my sunglasses to appreciate the view. Sandy turned around and smirked.
'And he's taken, bitchacios', I yelled loud enough so the other barbie girls can hear.
Which I'm sure they did. Got a few evil stares.

'Do you have to be so blunt, babe?', Sandy said, returning with my bottle of water.
'Loud enough so they get it', I replied.

'Why do you have to do this shitty video anyway?', Abby asked.
'I got to pick my grades up, girl. This video for movie night gets me an automatic A if accepted', I replied, taking the camera from her.

'Why are we in it? I hate being filmed', Sandy asked, taking a forkful of his mac and cheese. Its mac and cheese day.
'Come on babe. For me', I pointed the camera at him.

'Come on babe. Stop it', he nudged me a little and the cam fell.
'Oh shit. Lookie. You broke it', I pouted and bit my lip staring at the broken lens.

'Babe, I'm sorry'.
'No shit. You owe me 350 bucks', I whined.
Right then, he grabbed me and kissed me full on the lip. I was dazed.
'Mmmmm' he smiled. 'How's that?'.
I smiled up at him. 'Debt paid in full'.
'How sappy and boring', Abby whined.
'For once, I agree', Louis replied.

'Ok guys. Let's do something.', sandy said, taking charge of the camera, aiming it at Abby.
'Let's each say something about Tamara. Whether good or bad. Anything goes'.

'Really?', Louis asked. 'Ok. T, you got huge tits'.
He yelled out as sandy stepped on his toes under the table.
'Say something else, big bro. I'll box your ears next'.
I always forget they're twins. Not identical. Like from different fathers anyway, how did that happen?

'Taken', Louis replied.
'Ok.', Abby said. 'T, you're the greatest. that's all'.
'That was depressing, Abby', sandy said.

'How about you, Sandy?', Louis asked.
'She's the best. Beautiful smart, sexy. Glad I got you babe', he said. I could not contain my smile.
My phone beeped.

'Guys, my dads are here', I interuppted, taking my cam and grabbing my backpack.
'Love you babe', I kissed him extra hard and long. Earning more evil glares.
'Hey. We're still on for tonight, right guys?'. I asked

'Sure. Movie night', Louis yelled as I rushed out of the cafeteria. Abby said something I didn't catch.
I couldn't keep my dads waiting. They are strict.
Oh. Did I mention I have 2 gay dads?
