Wes's POV
Today we were finally finding out the gender of the baby. I could not be more excited. It's been cool cause we've really been able to talk to the baby and feel the baby kick.

It's almost like the baby can hear us talking to them, according to Cait they can. Sometimes Cait and I just find ourselves sitting up in bed talking to the baby and watching them kick her stomach.

"Hey babe are you ready?" I call.

"Yeah one sec." She says, and within a few seconds she walks into the living room where I am sitting on the couch. We go downstairs and out to the parking lot and get in my car.

"You still think it's gonna be a girl?" I ask as a we start driving to the doctors office.

"Yeah, your mom said she was always tired and hungry when she was pregnant with your sisters. And that's how I've been with this little one." She says and I nod. "How about you?"

"I think your having a boy."

"How so?" She asks.

"Well they always say when women are pregnant with girls that always take the beauty away from the mom. But your still as beautiful as the day I asked you out." I say causing her to blush

Caitlyn's POV
We get to the doctors office and I sign in before sitting down next to Wes. I hold his hand and put my other hand on my belly. After a while, I feel the baby kick.

"They're kicking again." I tell Wes and he smiles.

"Can I feel?"

"They're your baby too. Of course you can." I say, smiling. I take his hand placing it where I felt the kick, moments later our little peanut kicks and he smiles.

"I literally think that is the coolest thing ever." He says and I laugh before smiling.

"Caitlyn Chadwick." The nurse calls. Wes and I get up following her to the office. She leads us to a small little room where she takes my height, weight, and blood pressure. She then leads us into the actual appointment room.

"Will you just hop up on the bed and lift your shirt just above your belly so we can take measurements?" She asks and I nod. I do as she says and see Wes smile out the corner of my eye causing me to smile. "Well your belly is growing just as it should, which is good. I'll go run these on your file and then the doctor will be right with you." She says giving me a warm smile before leaving.

"I can't believe your starting to show." He says smiling, causing me to smile as well.

"I know, little peanut is gettin bigger." I say rubbing my belly. A few minutes go by and the doctor walks in.

"Hi Miss Chadwick, Mr.Stromberg how are you two doing this morning?" She asks.

"Pretty good." We both answer.

"So how's the little one been treating mama?" She asks with a warm smile.

"Pretty good. Started kicking a few weeks ago." I say and she nods.

"That's good. No more morning sickness?" She says and I shake my head no. "Great. So let's go ahead and check baby out." She says and I lay back before she puts the gel on my belly. She moves the wand around a bit and sure enough there's our little peanut. She turns the sound on and we hear the heartbeat causing Wes and I both smile. "Would you like to know what the gender is?" She asks and I nod. "You are having a baby girl." She says and we both smile. "So baby is 4 inches and 3 ounces. So she's smaller than she should be at 4 months. Most babies are about 6 inches and 4 ounces. So you need to put some weight on, but other than that you seem to be doing good." She says and I nod. "Well I will print your pictures and they will be at the counter." She says before leaving.

"I can't believe we're having a girl." Wes says smiling and I nod. "What's wrong? You seem really quiet." He asks as I grab a paper towel and wipe the gel off my belly.

"I guess I'm just nervous for her."

"Why?"

"She's not as big as she needs to be. My mom had the same problem with me and I was born almost three months early. They had allot of complications with me. My mom couldn't take me home for four months."

"I have faith that that this baby is going to turn out perfectly healthy. So what if she's a little small right now, she still has five more months in there. That means she still has five moths to grow." He says, kissing my forehead. "Trust me." He says and I smile.
