There are many ways a person can find their soulmate. Ex. Person A and their soulmate can comunicate with by writing on their skin while Person B and their soulmate can hear eachother sing even when they are far away. When a person touches a person with a soulmate, the person can see the way the soulmates can find eachother. Ex. Person A has the colorblind au and if person B holds A's hand, Person B would see A's colorblindness and vice versa. People get there soulmates when they are 17 years old. On three twins 17th birthday they get their soulmates and soulmate au version. Two of the siblings are excited for what they got, while main character is disturbed/confused. Mc gets the red string au and parential guardian asks them what's wrong. The parential guardian puts hand on mc's shoulder and is instantly shocked.
Main character: "The string.... the red string is going to the basement..."
