a Countryhumans AU - concept and main character design

Guess I'm going for it then :)

So, here I go explaining this weird, very sinful AU I have created, because obviously there's not enough dumb heaven/hell AU's in this world :')
But, quick disclaimer, no this is not a return to my cringe emo phase, there're actually some neat concepts behind this, I swear :'D

The name of the AU is "the Fall"

Anyways, let's start this travesty with introducing the main character:

Perhaps you might be able to spot some correlations between the mc and the AU's name :))))
But anyways, let me tell ya a bit about this guy-

As you can (hopefully) read, the main character, protagonist if you will, of this AU is the United States. (Fun Fact: I was thinking of using Italy as the protagonist, but scrapped the idea mostly because a united Italian nation doesn't fit at all with the time period). The greatest difference between him and most others is that he's not native to hell (if one can even be native to hell at all)- as the fact that he's a Fallen Angel might suggest. It is also noteworthy that this is the clothing in which he fell, within an actual storyline he'd most certainly change his clothes to something more practical. Additionally it is also worth mentioning that he's not the only one, but one of the few Fallen Angels in the story.

Anyways, about the design itself:
Like all Fallen Angels, his eyes and wings have turned black and the halo has not disappeared but instead appears cracked up and broken. The bird legs and smaller wings on either side of his face are typical of angels too, but the amount and size of the wings might vary.

I have not much to say about symbolism in his design, as most of his inhuman features directly come from his species and nothing more really-
However something to point out would be that his wings are actually not fully black, but instead show the pattern of a bald eagle's wings; they're more natural and it's something that does not happen to regular angels or fallen angels.

The story would pick immediately after he fell and show his adaptation to the new environment and how he meets the residents there. And well, people might not be too keen on having him there-
It is not in my interest to just make him a boring protagonist who only reacts and never does anything himself, he has a personality, which due to amnesia or atleast amnestic effects might be toned down, but he quickly escapes that shell.

Anymore information will either come in other chapters, if interest is there to see more, or if you actually like really, genuinely want to know something about it, I can tell some stuff in the comments or in private messages ^^
