"KAKYOIN!", my lungs hurt from screaming, "RETREAT! DIO CAN STOP TIME!"

Kakyoin's eyes widened and he quickly jumped off of the tower he stood on.

DIO turned around to me, visibly annoyed.
"How did you figure out The World's ability!? JOTARO?"

I glared at DIO until Kakyoin would safely reach the building, joining the old man. As soon as Kakyoin's feet hit the ground I felt more at ease. Hierophant's tentacles slowly faded. I also felt some sort of joy knowing that Kakyoin trusted me so much and directly did as I said...

"That's none of your business, bastard."

DIO chuckled and jumped off as well. He now stood a few meters in front of me, I did not fear him one bit. He pissed me off first, so he should fear me.

"What's wrong? Won't you come closer to kill me?"

I keep staring straight forward, directly into his soul. I felt anger. I wanted him to rot in hell, indeed. I felt pure hatred when seeing this man. I stepped onward, walking towards the man who tried to eliminate my bloodline since a few decades.

×××

I was on the verge of death. Fuck me. DIO looked at me, victory in his eyes. I wouldn't let him get away with it easily. The sun was about to rise, so I had a chance to at least kill him. Even if it meant my life being taken.

Star Platinum looked at me. I looked back at him, nodding.
He quickly made his way towards The World and landed a few punches. A lot of them missed, causing DIO's stand to land some hits on me also. It worsened my condition by a lot.

"Not so strong anymore, eh? That's what you get for destroying my plans on killing you after my order!"

He had a fucking order for killing my friends and me? What the fuck? I knew one thing for sure now, this guy is fucking sick.
Sharp pain hit my stomach making its way up my lungs. Fuck... I'd not survive this any longer.

"SILVER CHARIOT!"

I look up through my hat seeing Polnareff attack The World. It was no use anymore... I must thank you, Polnareff, but that wouldn't change our defeat one bit.
Surprisingly Chariot caused lots of damage. I could tell that Polnareff was really mad... He did his best protecting me. Thank you.

"Get out of my way, Frenchman."

"Never! Don't you dare hurting Jotaro like that and think you'd run without a few slices!"
I chuckle as I coughed blood. He had a big mouth, but I still loved Polnareff. He's a great friend... But soon I'll leave this world. With few to no regrets.

One regret of mine was... Never being able to tell Kakyoin how I felt. I was always such a pussy. I hated myself for that. Why did I get all nervous and shit when thinking about confessing?
Fuck-
I fell onto my knees, coughing more blood. I heard the old man shouting my name. God... Why was everyone so loud?

I felt strong forces wrap around me. I glance down at my body. Nothing? Bizarre... Oh wait. I look over to Star. Wait! Green tentacles!? Kak-

"Jotaro! Land the finishing blow!" The tentacles supported me to stand up straight. They gave me comfort and strength.

I look over to see DIO injured fucking badly. How? It seemed as if my friends and the old man somehow beat him? I felt sudden strength and determination run through my veins. Kakyoin motivated me to stand up. Fight.

"The World!" Time stopped. I indeed slowed down, but the burning fire didn't go out... Yet. I tried stopping time again and it somehow worked. DIO froze in his place, opening a chance for me. I'd do this now... Now or never. For Kakyoin, for the old man... For the reason I came here. My mother. To avenge my friends!

"ORA!" Time also resumed.

Gradually DIO's skin began to crumble. The sun rose as well. The combination made the vampire fade a bit. He looked just as shocked as the old man and Kakyoin and Polnareff.

"H-how...?", DIO started crying. Why was this bastard crying? Now he looked like a child begging for forgiveness. I did not feel remorse at all. May he die in pain.

"The Speedwagon Foundation is on their way!", someone shouted. It was distant... But it was definitely the Frenchman... That goofhead.

I also head another familiar voice. It was soft and gentle... Yet it sounded devastated. Despaired. I wanted to hug them... Kakyoin?

"Jotaro!", the redhead cried, "Please stay with me! Please, I beg of you!"
I felt tears against my shoulder. I wanted to hug him back, but I didn't find the strength to. Damn. This bastard really was serious, huh? At least DIO was dead now. Well... Half-dead. He still sobbed as he looked at me. I just coldly stared back.

"Jotaro! Promise me you'll not leave me!" I smile. I never smiled, but it was nice knowing someone needed me this badly. Thank you Kakyoin... That was really nice of you to say. If only you meant it...

I felt his arms squeeze me tighter, yet ever so gentle making sure not to hurt me more than I was. My heart was about to melt. How sweet it was... Experiencing this before I die.

Everything around me went to a muffled sound. Except one voice. It belonged to the redhead I've fell in love with way back... Around 50 days ago?

He was so special to me. He meant the world to me. I only heard his voice now. It was soft and shallow. He whispered to me.

"If you stay... I'll have a surprise for you. I promise. But you must promise me as well... That you'll never leave me. Okay?"

I nod.
"Yes... Yes, I won't. I promise." My voice was weak and shaky.
"I lo-" The words were stuck in my throat. What? Why did my voice fail me now?
Why was this world so cruel to me?
Everything went black now too... Great.

I hate this cruel world. But... At least I saved Kakyoin.
