I had been standing in the kitchen,gathering things to make dinner when I heard the front door slam shut."Honey,I'm home!",he called out,and I smiled.Typical Niall,being as loud as he could be in our quiet little house."In here!",I called back to him,and a few seconds later,I heard his feet pattering noisily on the wooden floor,and I couldn't help but silently laugh at his goofiness."Hello,my absolutely,incredibly beautiful wife",he said,and hugged me from behind,making me blush a deep red colour.I let out an embarrassed giggle and turn my head towards my right,where his head is resting on my shoulder."You keep doing that,and one day you'll come home to find a tomato instead of me,what with the way you make me blush",I informed him,resulting in him letting out his loud,famous laugh."I would love you more than I do now then,seeing as how you'll be food.Now,what was there to blush at?You are just too easy to be embarrassed.But hey,all this teasing aside,I want you to get all dressed up.I've got a surprise for you and this little fella' over here",he said,moving his hands to my prominently swollen belly,and keeping them there.Niall looked lovingly at it,as if he could already see the baby,and I smiled at this adorable sight before me.
Then I remembered what he said,and I frowned."What surprise?I've to make dinner",I replied,still frowning."You don't need to.Now go get ready,or else you'll ruin the surprise by being late!",he said,while pushing me gently towards our room."And keep something warm with you too.I don't want you getting cold",he said warningly.
"Niall....I.....This is perfect",I say with tears evident in my eyes.His surprise was incerdible.The little walkway with trees lined on both the sides had been decorated with rose petals.The trees had all been strung with fairy-lights,giving the walkway a magical feel to it.The petals lead us towards a gorgeous fountain,with floating tea-lights in them,lighting up the flowing water,making it look like the water was illuminated from within.The petals then continued to circle the fountain,leading to a little table set up for two.
My breath caught in my throat and I turn towards Niall,who's looking at me expectantly,with a huge grin on his face."How did I get so lucky to have the world's best guy as my husband?",I say,and Niall's grin gets wider,if that's even possible."Do you like it?I got all the other lads to help set all this up",he says,still grinning."Oh Niall,I love it!",I exclaim at him.He smiles down at me."I just wanted to tell you how much I love you,sweetheart",he says softly,and I smile."I love you too,Niall",I say,and I hug him tightly.
