"Hello darling, how was your day?" I asked my daughter, nang sunduin ko siya sa hospital. Inako kasi ni Rhed ang pagbabantay sa anak ko kapag nasa opisina ako. May palyground din kasi doon sa hospital kaya okay lang.

"Fine momi. Daddy Whed played with me and we owso visited his patients."

"Really? That's good. Did you enjoy yourself, darling?"

"Of cowse momi. I get to see so many peopow thew. They even played with me."

"Are you tired now? Let's go freshen up darling, then we'll go out and eat."

"Wew going to eat out? Welly?"

"Yes darling. Take a bath first ok?"

"Ok momi!!"

Kinuha naman siya ni yaya Celia. Sya kasi ang nagpapaligo kay Drea.

"Rhed!"

"Yes princess?"

"I'm planing to go home."

"What? Are you sure? Handa ka na bang umuwi? Sigurado ka ba jan? Isasama mo si Drea?"

"Rhed, apat na taon na ang nakakaraan mula nang huli akong tumapak sa Pilipinas. Tumatanda na rin si nanay, hindi niya pa nakikita si Drea. I want Drea to know nanay. Gusto kong makilala ng anak ko ang lola niya. Isa pa, gusto ko rin makita naman sana ni Drea yung lugar na pinagmulan ko. Kahit minsan lang. Isa pa bakasyon lang naman. A week or two won't hurt, you know."

"Oo nga pero sigurado ka na ba talaga jan? Alam mo naman na maliit lang ang Pilipinas. There is still a 1 percent chance na magkikita kayo ni Wess. Lalo pa at iisa lang ang hometown ninyo."

"Wag ka ngang paranoid Rhed. Hindi na trabahador ng mga de Silva si nanay. Tsaka himdi naman kami doon magbabakasyon. I've decided to stay in Tagaytay. Lerine bought a property there at doon kami mag-i-stay."

"But still-"

"If you are that worried, why don't you come with us then?"

"Oh no, hindi pwede. Marami pa akong ginagawa dito. Are you forgetting that I am a doctor? Hindi ko basta basta pedeng iwanan ang mga patient ko."

"Then hindi ka rin susunod?" Sabi ko sa nalulungkot na boses.

"I'll try to follow sweetheart."

"Please do Rhed. And thank you"

"You're welcome princess." I'm so thankful dahil laging nanjan si Rhed para sa aming mag-ina. He took care of us, and even love my daughter as his own. Hindi ko man kayang suklian ang pagmamahal ni Rhed.

"Goodevening dad."

"Mabuti at umuwi ka dito sa bahay Wess. Kung hindi ka pa pinakiusapan ng mama mo ay hindi ka uuwi."

"I'm busy dad."

"Busy? Saan? Sa trabaho? Oh come on son, you know you can drop by here in the evening. On the way naman ito sa condo mo. But you prefer to spend your day together with that woman."
