(Mat's pov)
Today's the day aunt Kai is coming to pick up me and my sister, we are temporarily living with her for the summer, due to our parents wanting to do more traveling and not wanting to bring us. It was pretty hard on Becca and I being tossed around from family members and to family friends when they didn't want to care for us but we eventually got used to it.
"Hey bec I'm going to pack some blankets you wanna go pick out two of your favourite ones you want to pack?"
I asked as I poked my head in the door. Not long after aunt Kai's car pulled into the driveway.
"Hey Matt hey Becca!"
Kai said as she got out of the vehicle.
"Hey aunt Kai."
I greeted.
(Time skip)
"Hey Becca wake up we're just getting into town"
I said as I gently shook her awake.
"Wha- ok!"
Becca chirped after gaining consciousness. I put my headphones back on after and played some music
then zoning back out. Not long after we pulled into the driveway of a nice house. It was quite fancy compared to the other houses. With a simple black roof, white framed windows, and blue exterior walls. It was nicely sized with 3 floors including the basement. The house also has a lovely white porch with some flower beds, upon closer inspection there was purple Aster flowers. All neatly planted in the flower bed.
"Alrighty kiddos, we are here!"
My aunt said with a smile.
