Secret

Chapter 2

Jillyann's POV

I woke up in the morning with my arms around someone. I flinched once his hands landed on my back "JC?" My groggy voice asked
"I'm here Jillyann," his morning voice still had some sleep to it
"Okay, I was just making sure you didn't leave."
"Nope. Never."
"Good," I said and rolled out of bed "where's the bathroom?"
"You can use mine. Right there." He pointed to a bathroom
"Thanks." I said walking over to my bathroom bag, then going to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and got undressed. I stepped into the shower, the warm water taking me away to a serene place. I massaged my hair with my coconut shampoo and conditioner then washed my body with coconut body wash after I shaved my legs and armpits. I stepped out and put on a pair of high waisted skinny jeans and a flowy white tank top with white Vans. I dried my hair and put it into a high pony tail, applied light makeup and I stepped out of the bathroom. JC was sitting on his bed, fully clothed and everything on his phone.
"Thank you again for letting use your bathroom." I shyly said
"Don't worry about it." He smiled, I smiled back and put my dirty clothes into my bag. "Let me put those in a hamper for you"
"You don't have to." I protested but he got up and put them into a pink hamper that I guess they just had laying around.
I walked downstairs with JC and Kian was on the couch with his girlfriend sucking face. The thing I noticed the most was his hands on her bum. He squeezed it causing her to let out a slight moan. JC cleared his throat when he noticed how uncomfortable I was.
"Oh sorry," Mel giggled whipping the slit away from her mouth, Kian shot me a dirty look then rolled his eyes walking away.
"Let's go out to lunch. On me."
"You don't have to."
"I wasn't asking." He smirked at me, taking my hand pulling me out to his car. We drove to Outback Steakhouse.
"JC this place is expensive! We can just go to McDonald's." I insisted
"No, I want to take you somewhere nice."
"Why?"
"You'll find out soon enough."
"JC! Tell me!"
"Wait, you'll find out. After all it is your birthday."
"No it's not." I laughed
"Shhhhh....just go with it." JC whispered loudly causing me to giggle.

We walked into the restaurant and a waitress with dark brown hair and brown eyes walked up to us, "How may I help you?" She asked
"Um, JC Caylen, table for 2" he smiled looking at me. We were seated at a booth. "Hi I'm Nyla and I'll be your waitress today, how may I help you?" The red headed girl cheered. I knew that voice. Nyla tortures me because she thinks her boyfriend leaving her was my fault.
"Um I'll have the steak tips."
"Me too." I agreed
"What to drink?" She snapped then smiled at JC
"Um... I'll have coke," I said
"I'll have a Pepsi,"
"I'll be right back with drinks."
She came back with drinks.
"Um. You forgot mine." I said
"Oh sorry." She snapped
She came back a few minutes later with my coke, but instead of putting it on the table, she dumped it on my head.
"Oops, I slipped." She fakely said holding the cup in her hand. I stood up and ran out of the restaurant in tears. JC followed after me.
"Why did she do that?" He asked
"She thinks her boyfriend leaving her was my fault." I sobbed, he grabbed my chin in his hand
"Don't cry."
"Like that's going to happen."
"Please. You're too beautiful to cry." He said, cupping my chin in his hands. I flinched away at his touch. My father used to do that to me before he would throw me to the ground and kick me. Tears welded up in my eyes. "why do you always flinch away from me? I'd never hurt you."
"I-I know you wouldn't. It's just my father. He used to hold my face like that before throwing me to the floor." Then the tears spilled out
"Baby girl. Please don't cry. I will protect you. He will never hurt you again." JC said whipping my tears away
"I-I don't want to go back." I cried into his chest
"You don't have to. I'm here for you. Stay with me and Kian."
"I-I can't. Kian hates me."
"No he doesn't. Maybe you should talk to him."
"I will."
The ride home was quiet. When we got back to the house, Kian was sitting on the couch. I walked over to him and sat down next to him.
"K-Kian?" I stuttered
"What?"
"D-Do you hate me?" I cried as I said it
"What-why are you crying?" He said turning to me
"D-Do you?"
"Do I what?"
"H-Hate me?"
"No. You're my sister."
"Th-Then why did you leave me with dad?" By then tears were flowing down my face
"I wasn't going to just stay there and be beaten on."
"So you left me to-you left me to be raped everyday Kian. You promised me you wouldn't let him hurt me anymore. B-But then you left me. Alone." After I said that he pulled me into his chest, into a tight hug. He kissed the top of my head and told me I'd be okay "Kian it was awful. I-I was hurt so bad everyday and every night." I cried
"I-I thought he stopped when I left. I'm so sorry." Kian said his voice shaky
"Don't make me go back."
"Never. That man deserves to die alone."
"Thank you Kian."
"You're welcome. Why's your hair sticky?"
"Nyla. She dumped a cup of coke on my head."
"What a bitch."
"Yeah. I'm gonna go shower." I got up and walked upstairs to JC's room "is there any chance that I could use your bathroom again?"
"Yeah of course anytime you need it." He smiled
"Thank you." I smiled back, grabbing my bag I went into the bathroom. When I got out of the shower, I put on a pair of high waisted shorts and a baby blue tank top with matching Vans. I just left my hair the way it was and didn't put on any makeup. When I walked out of the bathroom, JC wasn't in the room so I put my dirty clothes in the hamper he gave me and walked downstairs.
"SURPRISE!" Kian, JC, Trevor, Connor, Ricky, and Sam all yelled
"Guys! You didn't have to do this for me!" I said
"We didn't ask." JC said as he stepped closer to me. He stood so close to that our breathes mixed. He leaned down and connected our lips. I've never been kissed and have it mean something. Normally I would jerk away but this felt serene, it felt so real. When he pulled away there was a chorus of cheers coming from all of the boys. Even Kian. "I have a question for you?" JC said
"So ask it."
"Do you wanna go out with me?"
"Of course I will." As the words left my mouth his smile grew and he lifted me off of my feet and spun me around I giggled as he did so.
"I haven't seen her laugh like this in forever." I heard Kian whisper to the other guys
"I'm so happy." JC whispered to me
"Me too." I whispered back.
"How about we get to the presents!" Sam called out
"You guys did not have to get me presents!" I called back
"Well we did so let's go." Kian smiled, leading us to the living room.
"Start with mine." Ricky said handing me a colorful box. I pulled off the wrapping paper revealing a perfume box.
"Oh my gosh Ricky! Thank you! How did you get me this?" I asked, referring to the expensive Victoria's Secret perfume.
"I have my connections." He said
"Mine next." Trevor handed me a bag, I opened it and inside was a puppy.
"Trevor! Thank you so much!" I cheered hugging him.
"It's a German Shepard, and you're welcome." He smiled
"Now mine." Connor said handing me a familiar bag. Victoria's Secret. I opened it and I started laughing as I pulled out a pair of underwear that were completely lace.
"Thanks Connor but I don't think I need crotchless underwear." I started laughing
"Hey you never know my girlfriend always wears them." He chuckled
"Okay here's mine." Sam said passing me a bag. I opened it and inside was an iPhone 5S.
"Sam thank you!" I cheered
"You're welcome I mean you needed a new one."
"Now mine." Kian said handing me a box. I opened it revealing a beautiful Alex and Ani bracelet.
"Kian it's beautiful!"
"It's a sister one. Because you're my sister."
"Thank you so much."
"Now mine." JC said, he handed me a small box, I opened it and it had a beautiful necklace in it.
"JC it's beautiful! Thank you so much!" I said turning to him to hug him.
"It has something written on it."
"What does it say?" Sam asked
"I will keep you safe. Nobody will ever hurt you. I love you. Forever and Always. JC." I read out loud
"JC! I love it!" I said as he put it around my neck.
"I hoped you would." He smiled at me
"Happy birthday Jillyann! Sorry I'm late." It was Mel. "Here's my gift for you." she said handing me a box.
"You got me a car!" I said hugging her
"Well yeah you need one!" She laughed
"Thank you so much Mel!"
"You're welcome. That necklace is beautiful!"
"Thank you JC got it for me."
"What's it say?" She asked as she read it
"Awe! JC that's so cute!" She cooed making JC blush.
"It is?" He asked
"Yeah! I mean that's what every girl wants. Just not me. I have everything I want." She smiled
"I love all of this guys. I've never gotten this many gifts before." I said
"Really?" Connor asked
"Yup."
"Why?"
"Um... not sure I guess." I shrugged it off
"Anyways." Kian spoke
"Yeah so JC, how did you know she would say yes?" Trevor asked
"Oh I-" JC began but Connor cut him off
"Because she's easy." Connor said with a laugh
"W-What?"
"What." Connor said
"You just said that she's easy." Sam said
"And?" Connor said "its not like I'm lying." I felt the tears in my eyes and I got up and ran out of the room, upstairs and stood in the hallway crying. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
"Jillyann I'm sorry." It was Connor
"Shut up and go away!" I cried
"No. Don't tell me to shut up." He said sternly
"Why not? You can call me easy but I can't tell you to shut up?"
"That's because you are easy."
"No. I'm not."
"Okay well answer me this, are you a virgin?"
"Stop Connor. You know the answer to that question."
"Yeah I do because you're easy." He teased meanly
"Connor stop."
"You're so easy that your own father got you. You gave in to your father and let him screw you everyday." He teased again
"I DID NOT LET MY FATHER RAPE ME!" I screamed
"Don't raise your voice to me!" Connor shouted
"TOO DAMN BAD CONNOR NOT EVERYTHING GOES YOUR WAY! YOU ARE NOT THE KING!" I screamed at him poking his chest
"Don't touch me!" He roared, pushing me to the floor. My body hit the floor hard with a thud. His silhouette hovered over me. He swung his hand down a hit my face hard with his hand. I screamed out in pain as his hand contacted the entire right side of my face. My face stung and tears fell down my face. Then next the I knew I was in someone's arms and I was being cradled. "Shh...it's okay. I'm here." It was JC. His soothing voice acting as a protective blanket. When I'm in his arms I feel safe. I heard Kian say "JC get her out of here."
"Come on Princess this way." He said trying to lift me but I couldn't walk. I was too scared. He lifted me into his arms and walked me downstairs. He set me on the couch and told Sam to get him ice and water. "are you okay Princess?"
I shrugged my shoulders "my face hurts a lot." I whined
"I know."
"Here's some ice." Sam said handing JC the ice bag. I winced when JC put the ice on my eye.
"What happened?" Sam asked
"I told him to shut up and leave me alone and he got mad." I explained
"I'm so sorry Princess, he will never touch you again." JC said, his eyes searching mine.
