THIS IS A PREVIEW OF THE NEW STORY. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST CHAPTER ONCE IT IS COMPLETE.
You take a breath, inhaling slowly. A new town. A new job. A new life. The big apple was too much, you had to get away. You moved far away from New York. You now live in a small little town with a population of 253, called CPT. You didn't know what CPT stood for, but it didn't really matter to you. You just knew it was a small town, and they needed a kindergarten teacher when you moved here, so you were fine with it.
You exhale just as slow as you inhaled. Putting on your best teacher smile, you open the door to your new classroom. Room 7. Seven is your lucky number. You flip the light switch up and look around your new classroom. The school year starts in a week, it was a last-minute sign-on, so you don't have long to set up the classroom. You did get a $1000 sign-on bonus for your classroom, you were going to need way more than that though. You still practiced walking into the classroom as if it would be full of kids. There were 20 desks in rows of five, a desk for the teacher, a whiteboard behind the teacher's desk with a desk chair, and a bunch of shelves in the back full of books. There were also buckets under the shelves, you didn't know what was in them though.
You walk into your classroom, making sure to shut the door behind you. You put down your bags of supplies beside your desk and take a seat in your desk chair. You roll over to your bags and begin pulling things from your shopping spree out of them. You bought pencils, crayons, markers, paper, glue, googly eyes, pom-poms baskets, nameplates, and a lot of other decorative stuff. On the first day of school, you were going to have your students all group up and decorate their nameplates.

You breathe out a sigh after setting the desks into five groups of four and placing nameplates on each desk, and baskets full of the stuff you bought in each group. You had five groups, each with a different colored basket. The group closest to the door was the red group. The one closest to your desk was the green group. The group closest to the corner farthest from your desk was the pink group. The group in the other corner was the yellow group. The group in the center of the room was the black group. You wished they had more colors at the store, but those were the only ones that you could get.
Smiling, you turn off the lights and step out of your classroom. You're checking your phone, not watching where you're going when you run into someone. You back up, blink a few times and look up at who you ran into, sputtering out a few apologies. It was a really tall man dressed in a crisp black suit. He had dark brown eyes, black hair that was slicked back, and a five o'clock shadow. He was very attractive. You come back to reality when you heard him speak. "It's quite alright, dear." You blush at the sound of his voice. It was like dark chocolate and red wine. "Are you new here? I don't recognize you Mr..." He waits for you to tell him your name. "L/N. Y/N L/N. And yes, I'm new in town. I just moved here a few days ago." You say cheerfully. "Well, it's very nice to meet you. I'm Samual Mytilene." He says, smirking at me. His smirk makes me melt inside.
