Wesley:

We have been walking for two and a half days now. I still wasn't completely over the fact that me and Adelyn were not really siblings but that doesn't change the fact that I see her as my younger sister.

I stared down at the tip of my trainers in silence next to Archer. He and I barely spoke. It's hard to strike a conversation when you have nothing to say. But the thing is, I had a lot to say, but I couldn't say to him.

'Sorry, Wesley, I been a prick to you since we left and it isn't fair y'know, and I hope we could be mates again minus the awkward conversations,' Archer finally spoke.

'Yeah, that'd be cool I guess.' I say.

He elbowed me with a smirk, 'So, when were you planning to tell me about your little crush?'

'What?' I say.

'Well when that vamp back at the palace mentioned Beatrice and The young prince were getting married you looked pissed off, not to mention that look of jealousy glued to you face.' Archer laughed.

'I wasn't jealous, I was,' I stuttered, 'Annoyed that the vampires were taking random people now and forcing them to marriage y'know?'

'No, No I don't know, Wes. You like Bee!' Archer laughed. I shook my head. This guy.

We came to an opening in the woods and to our surprise we were surrounded by buildings but not just any buildings, dead ass skyscrapers. As orphans we didn't get out much so this was the first time we had been in a city. Crazy right?

'Holy sh-' Archer was cut off by a tire screeching. 'What was that,'

'Stay back,' I say. We wait a good few minuets before going out into the streets. We are walking around for a good ten to twenty minuets. When we spot a apartment building. 'Here,' I say to Archer as I run to the back door. We sprint to the top floor and swing the door open.  What a view. We stand gawking at the city scape before we noticed the bags stacked on the bed.

'Who's is all this stuff?' I ask. Archer shrugs.

'Lets go downstairs and see if we can find anything ok, maybe they are nice people?' Archer whispers.

'Or maybe they are vamps?' I shrug emotionless. We have been through enough shit that it doesn't faze me thinking about it.

We rush down the stairs and as we get closer we hear voices. Me and Archer stare at each other for a moment.

'Does that sound li-' I begin before realisation kicks in. As if on cue Archer starts throwing himself down the endless amount of stairs.

When we reach the lobby we stand to listen again before swinging open the door to the bar.

The group freeze as I stare at Beatrice. Archer stands dumbfounded staring into the room.

This is awkward.

Beatrice broke the silence by saying, 'Wanna join us?'

'Yeah sure,' Archer comes forward beaming as if we hadn't seen them for years and had coincidentally ran into them or something. They begin to all catch up and thats when it hit me. We are in a bar full of alcohol and everyone is being loud as hell. They are drunk.

'Addy, what the hell man!' I shout at her.

'What?' She asks confused.

'You do know that vampires are hunting you right at this moment!' I lower my voice.

'Oh piss off Wesley let her live her life literally like I always say, live each day as if it's your last!' Beatrice says giddily and I take a step back.

'Wesley relax let em have a little fun from time to time like we have only just found them and you are already bossing her about ,' Archer steps in front of Adelyn. I roll my eyes and take a swig of vodka before pulling a disgusted face at it's strong taste.

They all fall back into conversation as I sit and listen. Maybe I am just being a little dramatic.

About half an hour later I finally had enough, 'Right c'mon guys that's enough,'

They groan in protest and slowly get to the door.

'Jesus you guys really are drunk.' I say.

'Actually I am the least drunk besides you. Archer only got here not long ago and is more drunk then me,' Adelyn comments.

'Hey!' Archer protests.

'Bed time kiddies!' I say rounding them up stairs. They actually are a bunch of children and I am not enjoying this at all. They need to grow up.
