Destiny

It was the beginning of my final year so I got up really early so that I wouldn't be late for my 8o'clock class. I fixed my hygiene, got dressed and did my makeup.

Watching the clock shocked me because I had less than half an hour to reach to class. I made my way across the hall to Mahalia's apartment to knock on the door but it swung open the same time, "Let's go!"

We made it to school ten minutes before the bell rang and we power walked to our lockers to get the books needed for the first 2 classes. As Mahalia and I greeted everyone we saw, I mistakenly walked into someone.

All my books fell to the floor and I quickly started to pick them up until I recognized an extra pair of hands helping me and trust me it wasn't Mahalia. It was a caramel hand and it was muscular and I could see the veins on them.

I slowly raised up and admired this caramel brother that stood in front of me handing me back my books. "Sorry, I threw down your books."

"Damn you could throw down my books if you want," Mahalia said as I took back my books.

"No, am sorry, I wasn't watching where I was walking." As if on timing the bell rang and I just held onto Mahalia's arm and walked away but on my mind I was like damn that boy is finer than a ...

We sat down in the back row which was the highest seats in the class. "Okay so I assume everyone is here, welcome back from your vacation and am sad and happy at the same time because this is my last year with you guys, I hope you guys do fantastic in your final-"

"Sorry am late professor I could not find the class."

"Oh great you're here, class I will like to introduce the newest student to our class, Mr Adam McCall." He waved to the class then found a seat in the front.

I found it hard to focus in class because every minute I was staring at his back and the way it was built. It was something about him that pulled me in. Time passed by fast and I ended up with a lot of work to do so I had to carry half of my books home.

I struggled by myself to get to my car because Mahalia was not here to help me carry them to the car. "Would you like some help beautiful?"

I stopped and turn around to see the same boy I was somewhat crushing on. I debated on the question and I was stock on the last word. Beautiful? "Ah okay, but my name is Destiny and I would like you to call me by my name."

"Well am Adam, and nice to meet you Destiny" as he put his hand out and I took it into mines and shook it.

"So your the new one in town, what brings you to Georgetown?"

"I was sent here by my mom to do my final year because I got myself into a really bad situation at the last university."

"What did you do exactly for a university to not want you anymore?"

"My friends and I held a party at the principal's home because he was on vacation but he came back earlier than expected so he expelled every student attending that party."

"Wow, your a bad ass."

"Yeah I guess so." he smirked.

I opened the car and allowed him to put the books in the back sit. We stood there and just stared at each other and I could of tell he wanted to say something but I had work in an hour and I couldn't be late.

"Well I have to get going. Thanks for the help and see you tomorrow." I jumped in my car and drove off. My heart was racing and I could feel something in my stomach tingling.
