~A/N~ I'm sorry it's been so long since I updated... I hope people are still reading this, I'm sorry that It's taken me so long. I currently have 24 WIP and I just keep getting more ideas. I have a few fics that I feel could be finished quickly so I'm going to focus on those so I can finish those and not have anxiety over everything

~A Week Later ~ Jade's POV~

I took off my headphones and looked around confused. Did I just hear something?

My bedroom door opened and Clint poked his head in. "Someone missed you" He opened the door more and Arrow ran in.

"Arrow!" I jumped up and knelt down on the floor. Arrow ran up to me and started kissing my face. So the noise I heard was Arrow's yipping. After I had gone to Radley, Clint, Nat, and Steve had gone to the Avengers HQ and Clint had taken Arrow with them, and he ended up taking a liking to Wanda and Bucky, so Clint let him stay at HQ while I was at Radley so that he had people to play with when Clint was busy. When I got back things had been crazy so we hadn't thought about getting him back. Until now I guess.

I looked up at Clint, who was leaning on the door frame. "You finally got him back?"

Clint nodded. "Yep, I thought it was about time he reunited with his mother"

"Jade!" I heard Pepper call. "Can you come here?"

I told Arrow to lay down on the bed and went to go find Pepper. Pep was standing by the elevator waiting for me.

"Hey hun, May just called me and said that she's going to go find out the gender of the baby and she wanted us to be there"

Woah, wait what? "She wants us there for a really important family moment?"

She nodded. "Yep. So get your shoes on, we gotta get to the hospital"

After I got my shoes on, we drove to the hospital

"It's still early in her pregnancy, can you even tell the gender this early?"

Pepper nodded. "Yep"

We got to the hospital where May, Happy, and, unfortunately, Peter, were waiting.

"Pepper!" May gave Pepper a hug. "Thank you so much for coming!"

"Of course, thank you for asking us to be here for something this big and personal"

May smiled. "Of course, I would have my best friend here."

"How long have you guys been friends?" I asked.

Pepper hesitated. "We uh, we actually met when Grace was born... She was actually the nurse who helped deliver her and gave Grace to her adoptive parents..."

May nodded. The doctor came out and called us in. Since it was still early in May's pregnancy, she was getting a blood test instead of a sonogram. She had gotten the blood taken before we got here so that it would be ready by the time we got here. May and Happy sat in the chairs in front of the desk while Peter, Pepper, and I stood behind them.

"Congratulations." The doctor started. "You're having a baby boy!"

May covered her mouth with her hand. The doctor left so that they could have a private moment, and Pepper went over to hug both May and Happy. "A boy! I'm so happy for you guys"
