*By the end of the night we had all gotten somewhat closer, she was definitely hitting it off with the guys. We got icecream and it was nice, to say the least. Someone new to be around was cool. The only problem.. touring. Not to mention she doesn't even know anything about it yet. The guys all think I should invite her to come on Warped with us but I'm not sure. The last thing I need is her thinking I'm in love with her and want to spend months with her everyday and all day.. I need to play it cool.

We leave tomorrow afternoon for another show, I guess I'll just break the news tomorrow.*

(Delilah's P.O.V)

Mike: Hey you up?

Me: Just woke up actually, why?

Mike: I wanted to come over for a little while. Are you busy today?

Me: Not until around 4 when I go into work. You can come, I don't mind.

Mike: K give me like 10, i'm at my buddy's around the block.

I stood up from my couch and looked around my house sympathetically. What a wreck. I've been somewhat busy lately and careless. 10 minutes would never be enough to make it as clean as I'd like. I gathered up cups, plate, silverware and 3 bowls that were around the house and put them in the sink with some soap and water. Good enough for me. I made everything look a little tidier and sat down. As soon as I sat my door was being knocked on.

"Come in you goofball, I just sat down." I called to Mike.

Except, it was Dylan?

"Uh hey. Were you expecting someone? I could come back later." He took a few steps and shut the door.

I looked at him for 4 seconds and all of the feelings I ever had for him came flooding back. There was only one thing I could do and that was shut off the emotions.

"I am, actually. What do you want?" I said as coldly as I could.

"Um, well do you think we could talk?" He moved his hand to the back of his neck and rubbed it softly.

"Y-" I was cut off by another knock at the door.

Dylan's eyebrow furrowed at me as he walked back to open it. He rolled his eyes at me and then yanked at the handle. "What do you want?", he scoffed at a very nervous looking Mike.

"I came to see um, Delilah."

"What the hell? Why do you know her name? Who are you?" Dylan raged and I could see his whole body getting red with anger.

"Dylan! Stop being so dramatic, Mike is my friend. Let him in and shut up."

Dylan rolled his eyes and moved out of the doorway, letting Mike in before storming out and slamming the door.

"That guys a douche." Mike laughed. "But what's wrong with my little Lilah?" He smirked at me and I stuck out my tongue.

"That's the ex boyfriend." I half-smiled. "He is a douche and it's got me down. I just want to get away from here. Y'know? It kinda feels like this place has nothing to offer me. Like, I make minimum wage selling popcorn and movie tickets to teens on dates with their temporary partners. I only stayed here because of him, now I hate it so there's no point. I'm going to have to work overtime like crazy and move into some shitty little complex for a while. Anywhere but here."

Mike took a sigh of what seemed like relief. "I want to ask you something."

I nodded, this seemed serious, somewhat a new side of Mike.

"What if I take you away from here? You can quit your job and we can just go."

"That's the dream, hmm?" I softly laughed.

"I'm serious, Delilah. We leave at 8. That's what I came here for, to ask you to come." He sat me down and explained.

"Mike, I could never ask you to do that for me."

"Just come on, Lilah, you know you want to."

I love Mike but I'm still not sure if I like Mike. The last thing I would want to do is lead him on. Things are just complicated, I'm complicated.

"Mike I don't know," I began but he furrowed an eyebrow at me crossing his arms acrossed his body.

"Stop talking okay, just listen. Do you remember what it felt like standing on the side of the stage and watching us play? Do you remember how happy you were? Seriously do you even realize I'm giving you a chance to feel that way everyday and let you have an actual fun summer?"

I stared at him blankly.

"Delilah, I know you are unsure because you are convinced I have a crush on you, which I don't by the way, but you should seriously come. You'll regret it if not."

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to actually say but I nodded and he understood.

"Y'know what you should literally move out of here today, quit your job everything. Do it all!" Mike unfolded his arms and started pacing.

"Where am I going to move to, did you even think about what you just said?"

"I'll buy you one of those storage units until we get back from tour and then we can figure it out then!"

This whole time I've known Mike I've never seen him so determined. He was serious about this, so serious.

"Okay, lets do this I guess. Except, I'll pay for the unit, you're already letting me tag along." I smiled.

He pulled me to my feet and hugged me.

*Time Lapse*

By 7 we had finally successfully gotten all of my furniture into a movers truck and into a unit. Doing everything last minute like this was literally crazy but crazy is what made me go to Mike's hotel room that morning and the whole reason I know him. And by the end of the day I realized that I liked Mike, I really-really liked him and this was going to be the best summer of my life.

When we had finally gotten onto the bus we had passed out on the couch together and I most definitely took advantage of his sleepiness to cuddle into him and breath in his delicious smell that he always had going on.

(Mike's P.O.V.)

After a long day of packing and moving furniture we had both passed out on the bus couch, after a little while she snuggled into me. She is so cute and she always smells like sunshine.
