"I love you. I hate you. I like you. I hate you. I love you. I think you’re stupid. I think you’re a loser. I think you’re wonderful. I want to be with you. I don’t want to be with you. I would never date you. I hate you. I love you…..I think the madness started the moment we met and you shook my hand. Did you have a disease or something?"

"Yoongi.."

The said man dragged his sight from the laptop to the closed door in front of him upon hearing his name being called outside of his room. He checked the time and it was 2 am. Put aside his glasses, Yoongi opened the door to find his wife's tired face. She was standing there looking uncomfortable and anxious.

"What's wrong??" He asked.

"Somehow my back feels so stiff and I got belly cramps on and off since this afternoon. There is a little pain also on my hips. I try to sleep but I feel so uncomfortable. Can you..uh..help me to put this patch on my back? I can't do it by myself"

Yoongi stared at his wife in silent then ushered her into his room. Sat on his bed as Yoongi told her to, she patiently waited him reading the description of the cold patch on his hand.

"This is the one that's the doctor gave you last week, isn't it?" He asked. Soomin nodded.

"Ok, Let me see"

Sat at the back of her, Yoongi lifted up her pajamas a bit. "Where should I put it? Here?" He asked as he lightly touch her lower back. "A little bit lower, just on the line of my hips" She said.

"Done" Yoongi said as he fixed her pajamas. He smiled when Soomin murmured a weak thank you while yawning ignorantly.

As far as Yoongi remembered, it had been two weeks since Soomin started to wake up in the middle of the night. Each time he asked, she either said that she was thirsty, hungry or just need to pee. But last week, he saw her just sat at the dinning room while holding a glass of water, looking so tired and wincing as if she was in pain. But then again, she just shrugged it off when Yoongi asked.

Actually, the doctor had warned them about this problem since Soomin entered the third trimester of pregnancy. He said it was normal yet they still needed to pay more attention if Soomin had those kind of pains, especially if it made her felt uncomfortable all day long. Being told so, Yoongi never skipped to check on her, and Soomin just being Soomin by coldly told him that she was being fine.

Tonight, as she seeked his help to ease the pain, Yoongi sure enough that it wasn't bearable anymore for her. Staring at her tired figure from the back, he had the urge to just caressed her hair and gave her a warm hug, to say that he was here with her, to say that she wasn't alone in facing this hard situation, to say that she was doing great and to say that he was thankful for that.

It had been eight months since they married yet he still had a hard time to utter his feelings to his wife because she still put a high wall between them. He wasn't sure about the reason behind it, but he really wanted to jump over that wall so bad. Yoongi felt that the distance between them hadn't gotten better since the first day. Everytime he tried to take a step closer, somehow she always took two steps backwards. It felt like they were just living together as a roommate, as an acquaintance. No more. No less.

Hey..what do I mean to you actually? He silently thought. Can't we get any closer? Would you accept it if I say that I want to show my care and my affection to you? Wouldn't you run away if I do so?.
