Summer POV:

That has probably been the greatest sleep I have had since the invasion and I have a seriously bad hangover. It seems I am not the only one because all of us except Wesley do too.

'Hey, aren't you lot lucky!' Daisy squeaked.

'How are we lucky?' I ask.

'Well, Addy?' She starts. Adelyn looks up from the window and nods for Daisy to continue. 'Remember that cute cottage we found ages ago?' Adelyn nods again and steps towards the group again. 'Well I took a ton of paracetamol!' She said proudly.

'Oh my god Daisy you're s fricking G!' I shout.

Daisy passes around the paracetamol and freezes when she finds, No Water!

'Well I guess we got to get some more then!' Archer says joyfully. He seems extra perked up today for some reason. We all ran down to the lobby and raided the bar again this time for water. We each got five bottles and scrambled back upstairs.

'Well me and Arch will go get supplies for ourselves whilst you stay here ok?' Wesley points to Me, Adelyn, Daisy and Beatrice.

'Be careful!' Beatrice says. Wesley nods.

The boys both leave and we pack up our stuff so we are ready to run when we are ready. I stare out the window so I could see Archer. He and Wesley were in the outdoors shop across the street and eventually stepped out with rucksacks etc.

I remember getting rejected by Archer and I still feel hurt by it. And after last night when I heard he and Addy talking I couldn't help but feel jealous.

'I am going to go and do a full spot check of the building guys.' Adelyn says. Perfect. She leaves and I motion for Beatrice and daisy to come to me.

'Guys, I am going to ask out Arch!' I say excitedly.

'What!'

'Again? You know what happened last time!'

'C'mon guys, I think he likes me!' I say.

'Nah, He doesn't gurl!' Bee says.

'Lower your standards!' Daisy says.

'Daisy!' Bee shouts.

'Sorry but like Summer I am going to be honest, he doesn't like you, I can just tell.' Daisy protests.

'Whatever, just you wait!' I say.

'Wait for what? Where is Adds?' Archer waltz in.

'She is checking the building.' I say. 'Arch?' I nod to the bathroom.

He follows me into the bathroom and I stare at him not knowing where to start. 'Remember in the orphanage you wouldn't go out with many girls because you "weren't satisfied enough"' I quoted, 'Well is their someone you would date and feel satisfied with?' I cringe at myself.

'Yeah, sure,' He says. I smile.

'Would I be that person?' I ask hesitantly.

'What?'

'Do you like me, I mean, do you wanna go out with me?' I say hopefully. He stands and thinks for a while and slowly nods. I smile widely. OMAGAWD! Finally!

'I guess?' He says awkwardly as I wrap my arms around him.

We walk out the bathroom and Wesley and Adelyn are now chatting with Daisy and Beatrice. They all turn to look at us then turn back to conversation. I catch Archer staring over at Adelyn and I turn him to me and Say over everyone, 'Hey guys! me and Archer are together!'

'Nice one man!' Wesley says. The girls don't seem at all bothered and Archer seems pissed off at that.

After some chatting, Adelyn went to grab her bag next to the window.

'Shit!' She shouted, 'Guys hide!'

We all duck down and crawled into hiding spots. Adelyn and Wesley dive under the sofa and I pull archer and Daisy under the bed with Beatrice already under. The blankets fall over the opening between the floor and the sofa covering Adds and Wesley and so did the duvet on the bed. We should all be well hidden.

'They were here boss!'

'How can you tell?'

'I don't know. I just can!'

'Well I can't smell anything?'

'It's best if we keep looking!'

The next thing I hear is glass smashing and broken glass comes sliding under the bed and slits my hand open. I cover my mouth and Archer holds on to my arm and brings it close to his face to examine.

'Search this whole building,' A new voice said, 'Leave no stone unturned.'

We hear swooping and again we were left on our own.

'Archer I am scared,' I say trying to sound frightened. Ok. Don't come for me, I just want his sympathy.

He ignores me and lifts up the blanket to look out. He slowly drags himself out and I hear rustling and pull myself out too.

We are all out now and we have no idea what to do.

'Guys we have to get out,' I whisper.

'We can't.' Daisy whispers back.

'What if we try to shimmy down the drainpipes,' Wesley joke.

'Wesley this is no time to mess around,' Adelyn says, 'Follow me.'

We tip toe out the room and find the stairs. So far so good. As we get halfway down the stairs we hear shouts from the top.

'Hey! down there!'

We start sprinting but before long a vampire comes up from the stairs and blocks our path followed by one behind and one more from the only escape door. we were surrounded.

'You guys are coming with us!'

'Hah, you wish!' Archer says.

'Don't test us!' The vampire remarks.

It all happened so fast. Like a flash of red. All the vampires were flying back. They scrambled back to their feet and stared in shock. In between me and Archer stood Adelyn. Her eyes and hand glowing a deep burgundy. Her hand pointed towards the Vampire ahead of us as he immediately shot back.

'Stay Back!' She shouted aiming her hand towards each vampire. They all hissed in response and retreated.

As they left, Adelyn let out a sigh of relief and the glowing red fell from her hand and faded from her eyes. Back to her natural brown eyed colour.

'What the fuck?' Wesley said as the rest of us stared in shock.

'I don't know what happened then so don't even ask ok?' Adelyn finally said.

We all nod because we clearly don't have time for this however all knowing that she will definitely be questioned later on.

'Now what?' Daisy says.

'Now we find a new place to stay,' Beatrice says as if it were obvious, 'C'mon we don't want the vampires to come back!'

'Well even if they did, Addy could just shoot them all the way back to their secret hideout or whatever!' Archer said staring at Adelyn, clearly still shocked with her sudden burst of, well, redness?
