Luke's POV

A normal Saturday morning is what this should've been but as I was brushing my teeth, I heard my mum call for me.

After finishing up my normal routine, I headed downstairs. This task had begun getting hard for me to do as I desperately had to hold onto the rail.

I went to the dining room and saw my mum sitting there with a cup of coffee. She looks at me with a weak smile before turning away, I could see the tears.

"Mum, why are you crying? Is everything alright?"

I asked as I walked over to sit beside her. She just nodded and wiped her eyes before looking at me.

"My sweet boy.. You.. You look so dead.."

My eyes blew wide as I just stared at her.

"I can't remember the last time you sat and actually ate something with us, Luke.."

That hit me cause she was right. Every time we sat together to eat dinner, I wouldn't eat it.

"Mum, it's no big deal-"

"I know you say that, honey but I'm scared.. Every night I pray for you to wake up in the morning."

She was crying and not bothering to hide it. She was scared and that made me scared.

"Mum.."

I muttered, feeling tears in my eyes.

"You say you're just trying to be healthy but this isn't healthy, Lukey.."

"I.."

I know I'd regret saying this, as everything I've done for myself is gonna be down the drain.

"I want help.."

I said in a whisper but my mum heard, she put down her coffee and hugged me as tight as possible.

"I called a dietitian, baby.. We're gonna help you, I promise.."

"I'm scared, mum.. I'm just healthy, I swear.."

"You're lying to yourself, honey.."

I kept crying cause I knew I was, I was lying to everyone.

"When do I see the dietitian..?"

I asked, wiping my eyes.

"Tomorrow, I told them it was urgent.."

I nodded, just letting small tears go.

"Would you want something to eat, Luke?"

I shook my head, not wanting to eat anymore.

"Okay, dear.. You can head back to your room. I love you, okay?"

"I love you too.."

I slowly stood up and made my way to the stairs.

I just didn't expect how my eyes filled with bright colors, mainly white and my head was pounding, I felt dizzy but never to this extent.

I knew then, before I even shut my eyes, that I was fainting or something more entirely.

"Luke!"
