The Elders were nothing but ash and dust now, but their spirits lived through the trauma and watched over the ones they chose. You could never truly kill an Elder it seems.
They watched over, wanting to help but of course, it was almost impossible to. Almost. They gave them subtle hints of them watching over and helping them when they truly needed the most.
The only ones that weren't absent of their physical form were Isle and Daylight, whose realms were visited and revived from darkness. All the others watched enviously of the children, wanting to feel that freedom instead of being trapped by stone.
Oh how they wish they could sit down around a bonfire, laughing, talking, singing, just like how they children below were doing now.
