A poem about the world we live in

We live in such a time
That most things are as sour as a lime
Everyday every minute somewhere a gun shot will be heard
Everyone is petrified even the brave wandering birds
We live in such a time
That most things are as sour as a lime
Everywhere there is war
Even on beautiful places like the shore
We live in such a time
Where nearly everything is as sour as a lime
Everyone is planning
To destroy this world within which happiness is lacking
We live in such a time
That most things are as sour as a lime
Some have everything
Where's others don't have anything
We live in such a time
