Yami Bakura sat on his bed, arms resting on his lap, twiddling his thumbs. He let out a long sigh of boredom. He had read all his books, watched all his movies, done everything he could think of. But the Domino High kids didn't go back to school for another three weeks.

"Crap." He simply said.

He looked out of his apartment window. The view was glum. Where the beautiful park once was, they had demolished what green was left in this godforsaken city and built more apartment blocks. Like the city didn't have enough already.

A thought suddenly sparked in his mind. He looked up at the laptop resting on his desk, almost primarily for school work.

"But we can make exceptions." Bakura smirked. He sat down at his desk and ran his fingers over the smooth keys, then, in a flurry of fingers, logged himself on and went to one of those weird websites for loners where it sets you up with a random person. He clicked the 'Talk with somebody' button and a screen popped up with a type box at the bottom. His 'mystery friend' was silent so Bakura made the first move.

Hi.

Hey.

What's ur name?

Marik. U?

Bakura. Hey, this is a bad way of doing it. Do u have Skype?

Yeah. It's MilleniumR.

Rly? Mine's TheAlbinoDuelist.

Ur albino?

Yup.

Awesome.

Bakura switched over to Skype and searched this mystery man's name. It popped up and he rang Marik. Marik answered almost instantly. He seemed shocked when he looked at Bakura's face, or specifically, his hair.

"Whoa! What're those things comin' outta your head, Bakura?"

"Oh, these?" I touched the two pointy bits of hair protruding from my head.

"Yeah, those."

"I don't really know. They just appear when I manage to push that stupid Ryou away and get on with doing what I want, not him." At that prompt, Ryou appeared beside him. His irritating, high pitched British voice rang out:

"Hey Yaaaaaamiiiiii...... Who're you talking to?"

He pushed the spirit of Ryou, who was now hogging the screen and gawping at Marik, to the side. He fell over and disappeared into the floor, as spirits do.

"Who's that?" Marik asked.

"Noooobody."

"So, yeah. Those 'pointy bits of hair' as you call them. They look like cat ears. Can I call you Kitty?"

"I guess so."

"Hey, Kitty, do you know that song. Hello Kitty?"

"Umm, no."

"Well, look it up. My friend told me about it and I dissed it cause of the TV show but it has a really awesome dubstep chorus."

"Ok." Bakura tapped into the search bar 'Hello Kitty'. "Is it the one by Avril Lavigne?"

"Yup."

Bakura let the music seep into his ears. He particularly favoured the lines:

"K-k-kawaii.....Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty.......Hello Kitty you're so pretty."

Marik's voice snapped Bakura out of his musical daze.

"Bakura, earth to Bakura, HEY BRITISH GUY!!"

"What is it?"

"D'you wanna meet up sometime? Where'd you live?"

"Domino city. Near the Kame Game Shop."

Bakura got no reply. "Marik, are you ok?"

"I LIVE THERE!!" Burst out the ecstatic blonde.

"Meet you there then?"

"I guess so. When?"

Bakura's boredom made him say this rather more forcefully than he would have liked: "NOW!"

The albino clicked the hang up button before Marik could get a word in edgeways. He grabbed his denim blue coat and slipped it on. He fell down the stairs and burst out of the apartment block door, hopping as he slipped one shoe on after another. His long, lanky legs carried him all the way to the game shop where he stood outside, waiting for the blonde. Surprisingly, Marik came from INSIDE the game shop. He grinned as he slipped a pack of Duel Monsters cards into his pocket and handed one to Bakura.

"As a meeting present."

"Thank you. You didn't have to." Bakura said this partly out of embarrassment that he hadn't brought something for Marik.

"Come with me." Marik grabbed Bakura's hand and dragged him to the alleyway round the corner, behind a Chinese takeaway shop.

"Hello Kitty, you're so pretty." Marik said, a grin on his face.

The blonde threw himself at the white haired male, and hugged him tight. He kissed Bakura lightly on the cheek, then planted his lips on Bakura's.

Bakura had, at first, jerked his head back in surprise. Then he leaned in to the kiss and wound his arm round the slim blonde's waist.

They kissed passionately for about a minute, only stopping for air. Then they both slid down to the floor and sat together in the embrace for about half an hour. They said nothing, did nothing except for occasionally share another passionate kiss.

"I'm glad I went on that chat website." Bakura whispered in Marik's ear. "You brought me out of my pool of boredom and brought me so much more."

He once again pressed his lips on Marik's, feeling the other male's soft, warm touch. Marik stroked Bakura's hair and hugged him.

"Meeting you has raised my confidence so much."

"Mmm. Really?" Bakura mumbled into Marik's soft blonde locks.

"Yes. I have been losing sleep over my love of boys for years. And also for my yearning to find one who would return my deep feelings. In my journey I met many phoneys ready to make fun of me. But then I met you. And every time I look at you or kiss you or hug you, I think: I want this Kitty to be with me for the rest of my life."
