CHAPTER SIX — exposed

ITS BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE FRANK'S RECOVERY. So far he's been doing well. I shouldn't have expected less from a man with the pain tolerance of a fish.

There's been a bit of tension in our humble abode.

Not only did Lieberman's wife try to suck Frank's face off, which was a very awkward situation for all of us. But to add onto that there's also some psycho running around blowing up birthday parties.

Okay well not exactly birthday parties but, he was blowing up stuff.

"There's nothing in this world I hate as much as a goddamn bomb." Franks rasps, eyes trained on the screen which displayed a video that was taken  by one of the victims. "Goddamn cowards."

"They think they're gonna scare people into doing what they want. They're wrong." He continued pacing back and forth in front of the TV. His breathing was uneasy, as if he was trying to contain himself. Preferably from doing something idiotic. "It just pisses people off you know, brings them together, makes them stronger. New York doesn't forget. Whoever this is they're in for a world of shit."

I look down at my feet, anxiously swinging myself side to side on the office chair I sat in. He did have a point.

Lieberman began rubbing at his temple "You know if they bring Madani into work, we might get our chance."

"Common." Frank scolds him. "Whole city's got its eyes open. Last thing we're gonna do is go after a homeland agent."

"So we're doing nothing?" I cut in. Lieberman sighed into his hand before turning to Frank who stood in front of the tv screen once more. "Better than doing something stupid." Frank adds leaving his spot in front of the television.

Marriage. Am I right?

Okay so. Mildly bad news.

Kare bear happens to be going after this bomber guy. Verbally of course.

Turns out he's been sending her creepy letters. Trying to compare the two of them, make her understand his purpose.

But Karen didn't take it well, and decided to to speak out on the situation. What I can piece together from the very few times I have spoken to her was that she was a very strong and independent woman.

She was a woman who acknowledged and used her voice for the sake of others, and that's a good thing. But planning to bitch a bomber on live radio is crazy.
