What the hell was going on?

I quickly turned around to see where that screech came from but there was nothing. I walked over to where I left my bike to see it was no longer there. I shivered god it was so cold, and dark this place it was so scary and sinister. The sky it was almost a reddish color unlike the normal blue. "What the fuck?" I heard another screech this time when I turned around there was a humanoid like creature standing there.

I jumped back it was terrifying, it was tall and thin, it's limbs were elongated and it wasn't like how tall people have longer limbs it's arms were way longer than a humans and so we're it's legs. It face the face it was terrifying it's had these things coming out of its face it kinda looked like a flower but with rows and rows of sharp teeth.

I assumed it couldn't see me, it could only hear me so when I stumbled back and fell it screeched again and started running towards me. I screamed, quickly got back on my feet and ran. Ran as fast as my legs could take me. "Shit, shit shit!" I muttered. The thing ran after me, it wasn't fast but it wasn't slow either, and I wasn't the fastest individual so it quickly caught up to me.

I was going to die, I was never going to see my dad ever again. The last thing I told him was that I hated him.

It was right on my trail just a few inches at most behind me. I sped up as fast as I really could my lungs were burning, I felt like I was gonna pass out. I passed by several houses all of them looking abandoned, windows smashed, parts of the houses completely gone. I saw a patch of woods I recognized those woods they were the ones behind Steve house. This had to be a dream god it had to be what the hell was I experiencing, this has to be some like out of body shit or like a day dream.

I turned towards the woods trying to confuse the monster but the loud stomping of my feet against the pavement made it hard. I looked back behind me to see if it was still behind me when I tripped over a rock sending me tumbling to the ground. I scraped up my arms and legs but quickly got back up not having anytime to examine my wounds.

A loud almost thunder like noise distracted the monster making it screech and turn around. I sighed in relief as I slowed myself down. I panted as I examined my wounds. there were some large scratches on my arms but it was bad. I started walking through the woods. If this was real maybe there was another portal back. Maybe another tree.

"Should I stay or should I go now"

My head snapped towards the young voice, "will?" I mumbled I ran towards the noise. I swear I saw a glimps of will, will in the same puffer vest he was wearing the same night I was at the wheelers. I swear I saw him, I swear I saw him running. I had to be seeing things I had to be going crazy. I looked up to see a familiar house, it was Steve's the house was now covered in vines and tenticals. I ran towards it, unlocking the small fence that surround the pool. "Steve?!" I walked up to the pool, it looked as there was no water in it. I looked down to see a body, "Barb?" I hopped down into the pool. "Barb?!" I shook her body. She was pale, was covered in the same sticky substance I was covered in, and had some tadpole looking thing stuck in her mouth. "Barb? Barbara wake up!" I said as I shook her body. She couldn't be dead, god no if she was dead, I was a goner , so was will if he was actually here. I checked her pulse, nothing. Tears welled up in my eyes as I hurried back up the ladder. She was gone, I had to find a way out of here I couldn't die, at least not like this. When I said I wished I died I didn't mean like this! I ran back through the woods when I spotted a tree, a tree with the same glowing red hole. I gasped as I ran towards it and quickly crawled through it.
