Luz's POV:
As we sat together in lunch, we both talked about our favorite book— The Good Witch Azura. "Yeah, my father never really.. let me leave the house as much, so I grew fond of books." I say, with a small tint of blush appear on my cheeks in embarrassment. I gasped in amazement as Amity showed me her book 5, "woah!- I've never read that one yet!" I say in astonishment as I chuckle, Amity soon following afterwards,
"You could always borrow it if you'd l-" Amity was cut off by Boscha snatching her book, "Ugh, really Amity? This bullshit of a book, again? You know no one's interested in this stuff." She laughed in cockiness as Amity turned red in embarrassment.
I take the book back from her but as I was about to return the book, Boscha shoves me to the ground, "Listen, fresh meat. If you even have the courage to do that again, just remember who you're messing with!" She yells with a little voice crack in the end, "Amity doesn't even like you! She just follows you around because the teacher told her to!" She said once again with a smirk.
Everyone was watching.
It felt like little daggers stabbing you one by one.
Suddenly, two walk past me and pull be back with them. "Tonight, at the Library." Amity whispers as I pass her, giving me a wink, I blush.
The two figures that picked her up pulled her to a corner. "Hey, you okay?" the taller one, with glasses, asked. "Wh- Oh- Y-Yea- I mean- yes? I don't know." I stutter, dusting myself off. "Don't mind Boscha, she's a jerk" the shorter one in the illusion track said. "Woah! you're the emperor's daughter! Your highness??" he said confusingly as he stumbled trying to bow. I chuckled, "Luz, Luz Noceda." I say as we walk down the hall, "I'm Willow Park, and this is Agustus Porter," "but you can call me Gus!" the boy added.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!"
"Well, Luz, hope to see you tomorrow!" 'Ah, shoot. Did I miss that many periods?..' I thought to myself as I waved to the two and my smile faded to a concerned face.
'Shoot! The library!' I say to myself as I stumble to rush home to change.
