Chapter 43: My three days with you (Part 3)

Argentum pushed Lena's wheelchair until they reach the hospital entrance when an old-looking lady looks at them with a worried face.

"My lady!" The old woman shouted as she hugs Cereus who is on Lena's lap.

"Where did you go? I'm so worried when I check you on your room and you're not there" The granny said as she looks like she is about to cry.

She wears a hospital garb just like Lena and Cereus which made Lena confused about what's happening.

Cereus noticed this and introduced the granny.

"Umm, miss ang-, I mean big sis, this is nanny Avo. She is also in the hospital because she is sick too."

"Good evening, Ma'am Avo, I'm Lena." Lena greeted.

"Good evening, Ma'am, I'm the bodyguard of Lena, Lyle" Argentum added.

Lena was confused about why Argentum is using a different name but thought that it might be their protocol or something as a bodyguard.

"Ohh good evening too, thank you so much for taking care of Cereus." Nanny Avo was shocked to see that Cereus clung to a stranger.

She can see the small smiles that Cereus is hiding, which made her feel happy since it's been a long time since she actually smiled without reserve.

"You have troubled Miss Lena enough Cereus, let's go to your room." As nanny Avo said that Cereus felt sad but thought that she was lucky enough to be embraced by an angel.

"No, let us deliver her to her room. Plus, she is also not wearing any shoes and it might be hard on your body Ma'am Avo if you carry her, especially since you are sick too." Lena reasoned.

"Thank you so much, miss Lena." Seeing the joy comes back from Cereus's face, nanny Avo was glad that Lena has reasoned with her.

The sending of the child to the room is filled with small talks with Lena and nanny Avo.

The room where Cereus and Avo are located is on one high floor from Lena's room.

When they reach Cereus's room, all of them realized that the child is already sleeping on Lena's lap which Lena and nanny Avo found cute and decided not to wake her up.

Argentum gently carries Cereus to her bed and tucks her in.

Everyone slowly goes outside the door and gently closes the door.

"Thank you so much miss Lena." Nanny Avo once again thanks, Lena.

"It's ok ma'am Avo, and you can call me Lena " Lena said.

"Ok, and also just call me nanny Avo. Umm Lena?" Nanny Avo hesitantly to talk about something.

"What is it?"

"If it's not a bother, can- can you please visit Cereus again? I know this is such a shameful request since it's the first time that we have met but Cereus is...." Nanny Avo stopped what she was about to say as if she is pained by something.

"Of course, I'll visit her. Being in the hospital all day can be boring and chatting with someone can make it more fun for Cereus and me, and of course for you too, nanny Avo." Lena smiled trying to reassure her.

"Thank you so much!" Nanny Avo hugged Lena tight and thank her from the bottom of her heart.

Nanny Avo's room is beside Cereus's room, so they say goodbyes to one another.

Argentum bows his head as a goodbye and pushed Lena's wheelchair to the elevator.

The silence in the elevator was broken by Argentum.
