Chapter 7 : Tension

I had fallen a vase which was by the door. It looked quite expensive, it created a loud sound that I'm pretty sure got their attention

I tried to pick up the pieces and dispose them properly, luckily for me there was a curtain near by so I swept it and left the pieces behind the curtain ignoring the fact that my mess was harmful.

I tried to leave that area quickly but I was stopped as I advanced towards the staircase. It was one of Jordan's friends, he introduced himself saying his name was Ray.

"Hey, I'm Ray, remember me?"he asked
I couldn't really remember his face clearly probably because I was drunk but anyways I replied him with a yes.

" What you doing here?, you looking for something or wait Jaden?"

I gave him a stare and said "I'm here for breakfast that's all, not for anyone"

He seems quite impressed, he stares at me awkwardly for a while and suddenly he complements my appearance and body.

"You look good in that hoodie and your legs.....they firee!!!,You've got a nice body" he said

My legs.....really?
Legs??
Oh gimme a break

"Thank you, now the food?" I asked

"Oh that.... Yeah
  Just keep heading straight and by your left you'll see a bronze door with a silver nob with tiny crystals, that's where Jaden and the food's at" he replied

"Ok, thanks"

As I kept walking forward I couldn't help but get the strange feeling I was being watched, I raised my phone up and used my screen as a mirror to check out what was going on at my back and I saw him staring at me, he gave a lustful look which I felt disgusted by.....MEN!!!! THEY'LL ALWAYS BE THE SAME!!

I finally reached the door,I could hear lots of noise  its obvious they were having fun, I opened it and walked into the dining  room, it seemed my presence had changed the whole atmosphere.

Everywhere was quiet,they dropped their discussion and started staring at me the same way Ray did, everyone including Katie, at the sight of seeing me , Jaden paused his eating and started smiling

I couldn't help but feel so uncomfortable so I got to the table and asked which food was mine, Jaden quickly called for his chef and asked that some food be served to me. He asks me to come sit close to him and I did.

I could tell Katie didn't like the idea of sitting close to him but what do I care after all she threatened me, she shouldn't expect anything friendly and good from me.  As I sat down two of Jaden's friends came to sit close to me, Katie's expression was priceless I could tell she was mad (It gave me joy)

Her friend, Kelly, wasn't also having it from the looks of things. They sat together talking about only God knows what while giving me a dirty look.

Before the food arrived I was stuck in a conversation with Jaden's friends, it seemed like they didn't want to let me go. I'm not gonna lie, they are funny and nice but that's not the plan here. I just want to eat and leave.

Few seconds later, my food arrives; its very tasty , it's been a while since I tasted good food like this. Mother used to make something like this for me. I miss her so much.....

Jaden notices my sudden change in mood and asks if I'm okay. I assure him I'm good, he begins to compliment my looks and how I look pretty in his hoodie

He apologizes for making me miss my movie.( That's right....the movie, I legit forgot about that)

"Its fine, it not really a big deal anyway"

We begin to have light conversations, which were actually nice , while we were talking I told him about his broken vase and where I kept the pieces. He starts laughing aloud and it gets everyone's attention.

"I'm surprised at how petty u were, you would have just told me it wouldn't mean anything, its not like I'm gonna hurt you or anything" he said

As he said this words I couldn't help but laugh aswell, Indeed I actually acted petty. I had finished my meal and was ready to drop my plates.

Immediately I stood up I got a text, a text that changed my mood and might probably create my first move. I needed to leave immediately.

I dropped my plates and left the room , I was walking towards the door while searching for an uber on my phone.

As I was about to open the door I felt someone grab me , trying to hold my hand, I immediately turned around , lowering my head while bending down trying to hit this unknown figure but I couldn't because this person used my move against me and ended up using one hand to hold my right arm and the other to grab my neck.

I moved my head up to see who it was, only to discover it was Jaden. He let me go and I start yelling at him.

"What the fuck is wrong with u?"
"Why you chasing me ?"
"What do u want?"

He gives me one response

"Where did u learn that move?"

That move was taught to me by Anthony, he taught me after I nearly got robbed

I couldn't answer that question so instead I asked him why he grabbed me like that and was following me

"I was wondering why u were leaving , so I was chasing to ask you, did someone upset u?"he said

" No one got me upset, I just have some important meeting that's all, anything else ?"

"No, well if your leaving now I probably don't know the next time I'll see u, can I at least get your number? ”he asked

I didn't have time for this so I immediately gave it to him then told him I needed to leave. He apologizes for grabbing me and offers to pay my ride and I agree.

My ride's here, he escorts me to the car, immediately I get into the car I get another text.

Fuck!
Shit just got real.
