Chapter 40! Thanks so much if you've made it this far. I'll never take any of you for granted. I'd say about 5 chapters left. Maybe less; who knows? Deffo less than 10.

The long awaited Valentine's Day talent show soon came and Tatiana was freaking out like crazy backstage, with Kaiden.

She didn't know that Josiah, Reminisce, Savannah and Khalifa had been charged for trespassing, although she was about to find out, along with Kaiden.

Technically, they should have been in trouble as well, because they were supposed to follow them, had Tatiana not been busy with choreography and Kaiden not been sick.

It was almost time for her dance group that she helped choreograph to go up, and they were almost halfway through the show.

The show had gone well so far - there was a lot of singing, dancing, acting and then some, with everything being judged by teachers.

There was Mr Dawkins, the Performing Arts teacher. Insanely strict. Mrs Hernandez, the Spanish Art teacher, pretty lenient.

Mr Richardson, the Photography teacher - no one really spoke to him like that because a lot of people didn't like him. And lastly, Miss Sijuade, the African Musical Theatre teacher.

A lot of people liked her. Not just as a teacher, romantically. She was very attractive - not just that, she also wasn't married.

Reminisce knew someone that was in her class. They said that a lot of guys obsessed over her, as if she wasn't too old for them. Some people.

Judges' scores were provisional only. The audience had decided who had gone through, regardless of how low or high the judges had judged someone, like in some TV competitions.

Ten was the best and one was the worst - there was no half points. Judges left feedback before scoring and after someone had performed.

"Tatiana, calm down, okay? Tatiana's Angels will be fine."

That was the name of their group. It only seemed right to name it after Tatiana, she did help with everything after all.

"What if they forget the dance moves, Kaiden? What if... what if going middle instead of first gets to them and they underperform? Anything can happen."

Middle was better than last. Anything was better than last.

If anything it looked like Tatiana had no faith in her team. To be fair though, Kaiden didn't exactly blame her.

When he visited her the other day to check how they were doing, they were so confused there was no hope for them at all.

Other people's dance choreography had to be credited if used, it was the only fair way.

The makers of the talent show realised that not everybody would have had the chance to make up their own full choreography to a song, plus that could have been stressful.

If choreography was used, not everything could have been used. Someone else had to make own their own moves at some point - so as to make things more creative and unique.

As the theme was Valentine's Day, people inevitably had to dance to love songs- whether it was directly or indirectly about love.

They had never done a Valentine's Day talent show and was simultaneously trying to stay away from what was cliché.

Just as Kaiden was about to say something, Khalifa, Savannah, Reminisce and Josiah headed back stage.

They had just come back from the police station and took the bus back because they didn't want people asking questions.
