Sparkwind notified his brother that he is going to South Island. Knuckles then said, "Good luck. Also, collect all the Chaos Emeralds, Sparkwind! See you." Sparkwind replied, "Will do, bro. See you!" After that, Sparkwind left to go to South Island. He landed at Green Hill though. Sparkwind came across a Warp Ring that contained the first Chaos Emerald. Afterwards, Sparkwind fought against the Egg Wrecker. Sparkwind made his own wrecking ball though and used said wrecking ball against Eggman. Sparkwind then went to Marble. He retrieved the second Chaos Emerald. Afterwards, Sparkwind fought against the Egg Scorcher. He threw the flames back at him. Sparkwind then went to Spring Yard. He retrieved the third Chaos Emerald. Afterwards, Sparkwind fought against the Egg Stinger. He took the retracting spike off and threw it at his Eggmobile. Sparkwind then went to Labyrinth. Since he knows how to swim, he doesn't drown as much. He retrieved the fourth and fifth Chaos Emerald. He did give chase to Eggman as he damaged his Eggmobile. Sparkwind then went to Star Light. He retrieved the sixth Chaos Emerald. Afterwards, Sparkwind fought against the Egg Spiker. He threw the spike balls back at Eggman. Sparkwind then went to Scrap Brain. He retrieved the final Chaos Emerald. Afterwards, Sparkwind would chase Eggman to Final Zone. Sparkwind went into his super state. His fur became yellow, his quills and dreadlocks became upturned, and his eyes turned red. Super Sparkwind fought against the Egg Crusher. Eventually, South Island is restored back to normal as there are more animal life and plant life at South Island.
