“Did you know people said she's been here ever since Cate Blanchett left her.” One girl whispered to her friend as they stare at (Y/N). The young woman heard them, but decided to ignore them, too busy drowning her pain.

“I heard that most times, she's the only customer who stays here, it's like she's living here. She just leave for two hours in maximum and stare at nothing.” (Y/N) glared at them this time, too intense that one of the girls squeaked before they quickly left their table.

‘Time went on for everybody else, she won't know it.’

“Sarah and Holland's wedding?” A man exclaimed rather loudly, his companions started asking him what he meant. He explained the article he were reading.

(Y/N) let out a bitter laugh, the man was startled because of it. “Miss (Y/N) (Y/L/N)?” He asked with wide eyes, disbelief on his face.

“Yeah.”

“Oh my! You're really her! We haven't heard updates from you on social media ever since Cate released a statement of--,” The man abruptly stopped, grimacing with his carelessness. “I'm sorry, Miss (Y/L/N).” He sincerely apologized.

(Y/N) let out her first, in a while, genuine smile. “It's alright.”

“It's been months, (Y/N). Why don't we help you and take a vacation?” Sarah coaxed, Holland next to her.

“Why are you here?” (Y/N) asked, ignoring what her friend said.

“We sent you messages, but you weren't responding.” Holland explained. (Y/N) raised an eyebrow at them.

“Then how did you two know I am here?” (Y/N) almost snapped, she's done with everything, she just want to be numb.

“It's all over the news, (Y/N). The media are having fun juicing your break up with Cate.” Sarah calmly said, pitying her friend. (Y/N) sat there wearing a plain white polo-shirt, eye bugs so black, lips chapped.

“Why are you here?” (Y/N) repeated, Sarah held her hand with a sad smile.

“We want to invite you to our wedding.” She felt bad, she would've move her wedding date for her friend, but they've been waiting years for it. (Y/N) never answered.

“You weren't there for Sarah and Holland's wedding, you weren't there for your awarding, you never goes to work.” Sandra  stated with frustration, it tug her heart to see (Y/N) like this, but it also irritate her that the young woman was wasting her potential because of Cate.
