Just Pretend

Chapter 13

The plane landed around 9am. The three of them had slept through most of the flight.

They grabbed their carry on and exited the plane . Noah, Jolly , and Nicholas were waiting for them . Holding a sign that said "welcome home."

They all embraced and then headed to the baggage area to claim their bags. 

"How much extra did you all have to pay to load this much luggage? I know it is way over weigh for a normal person. "

Nicholas asked as they all helped carry the bags to the truck. 

"An arm and a leg. However we got a good deal cause Arwen flashed her boobs to the baggage guy. "

Lennox responded with a laugh. Arwen nodded and shrugged. 

"The bad part of this story is its completely true. "

Parker added with a shake of his head and a laugh. 

"That was the best view he ever got. "

Arwen pointed out making everyone laugh.

"Im sure the cameras mounted on the wall behind him appreciated the view too."

Lennox added as the two high fived.

Once they left the airport they stopped by the realtor office, got the keys and then headed to their new house.  

It was empty aside from their bags but it was perfect. The new furniture was being delivered later that day. 

"You have been super quiet since you got here. Are you okay?"

Noah asked as he walked into Lennox' room where she was rummaging through her luggage.

"I'm fine. Just taking it all in. I've never lived anywhere but Daytona. This is very weird. However the thought of being here with you makes me happier than I've ever been."

She stood up and pulled him to her by his shirt. 

"Just think this is forever. No more long distance. No more saying goodbye. Its just us all the time. Together. Plus we head out on the next leg of the tour in a couple weeks. "

Noah kissed her gently and then rested his forehead against hers. 

"Remind me to thank Arwen and Parker for bringing you back to me."

Lennox laughed and kissed him. 

A few weeks later the house was put together . The movers managed to get everything there in one piece and with minimal damage. 

The Zodiac 2.0 was getting remodeled and was coming along nicely just as Bad Omens was heading back on tour. Their first tour date was in California which meant Arwen and Parker could attend.

The show began and Lennox stood in the pit ready to take pictures.

She watched as Noah took the stage and was followed by the others.

She smiled as the music began and it really hit her. This was her life now.

Her dream of becoming a famous photographer was becoming a reality.

The love of her life stood in front of her doing what he did best.

Her best friends stood in the crowd and she was happy.
Hell, being happy was an understatement. She began to snap the shots but noticed the tears streaming down her face. She wiped them away quickly and continued on with her job. 

Noah glanced down at her and blew her a kiss. She dramatically caught it and held it to her heart. 

"This next song I wrote about an amazing girl. At the time I had just broken her heart and almost destroyed us both. I am happy to say that she forgave me and gave me another chance. I love her with every ounce of my being. I just needed the world to know that .This song is called Just Pretend and will always be dedicated to Lennox Monroe."

The song began and Lennox really let the words sink in as she snapped pictures.
