Alvin and the Chipmunks 4: Solo Chipette

Chapter 1

Ian walked out of his apartment to get his mail, only to stop and see a chipmunk sitting by a bush while eating a seed. She looked like a very young chipmunk, like, she was no more than 12 years old. How he knew the chipmunk was a she, because of her outfit. She was wearing a light blue top with a blue leather jacket, and a darker blue skirt. Her hair was up in pigtails.

Ian walked up to her and immediately saw a resemblance of someone he knew. He was about to say something when she began to sing.

"How can I be who I want to be/when there is no one to support me/how can I survive out here/when I don't have a father or mother to guide me..." Her voice sounded good. It sounded really good. Ian thought about it for a while, and saw this as an opportunity to get back on the top with his record company once again.

He knelt down to her level with a smile. "Excuse me sweetie, but can I just say that you sing really well." He said, still smiling.

The chipette looked up and smiled. She knew who Ian Hawk was, and here he was, standing right in front of her. Could it be that this day could go from depressing to exciting?

"Thank you, Mr. Hawk!" She said with excitement.

"Oh, so you know who I am."

"Of course I do! You made the Chipmunks and the Chipettes famous!"

"That I did." Ian replied. This was his chance. Time to hook, line, and sinker. "How would you like to be my next biggest star?"

The young chipette squealed with excitement as she jumped for joy. "Absolutely!" She yelled.

"Great. But first I need to know, how old are you, and what is your name." Ian asked as he stood up straight.

"I'm 12, and my name is Lilly."

In the car 2 weeks later, Alvin was being Alvin and annoying everyone in the car. Brittany however, wasn't really paying much attention to his antics. Her mind was somewhere else. Eleanor and Jennette were beginning to worry about their sister, for whenever Alvin acted annoying, Brittany would scold him until he settled down. But today, she was extremely out of it.

All of a sudden, Alvin stopped. She looked over and saw him just staring at the radio. A song had come on, and Brittany recognized the voice, making her gasp in shock. It sounded like a chipette singing. Whoever it was, really made Alvin settle his butt down,

"Who is this girl?" He asked.

"I don't know, Alvin. Why don't you look up the name?" Simon said.

Dave Seville, the chipmunks and chipettes handler/manager/father figure, took out his phone and typed in Lilly the Chipette. He handed it to Alvin, who took it with his tiny hands, and looked at the photo that came up. He was in shock to see that she had Brittany's blue eyes, but his fur coloring, with a tint of light brown in places. Alvin also noticed her hair up like Eleanor's and her outfit was a blue version of Brittany's, only without the tie.

"The huh?! She is a chipette!" Alvin exclaimed.

Jennette looked over Alvin's shoulder and gasped quietly. She looked over at Brittany and knew right then and there, that this was what was bothering her sister in the first place.

Back at home, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore were watching Sponge-Bob Square-Pants in the living room while the girls were in the room.

"Okay, Brittany. What is on your mind?" Jennette asked, as she crossed her arms in front her chest.

"What do you mean?" Brittany replied.

"Don't play dumb, Britt! I saw the photo of Lilly the Chipette and she looks like a female Alvin with blue eyes!"

Brittany sighed in defeat as she sat on the bed. "Okay. Just promise you won't tell Alvin."

"Wait...is she...?"

"Yeah." Brittany put her face in her hands, as she groaned with sadness.

"How and when did that happen?!"

"It happened months before we left for that vacation on the cruise. I don't know how it happened really! All we did was share a kiss, and then one thing lead to another..." Brittany sighed once more.

"Why didn't you tell Alvin?" Eleanor jumped in.

"I was afraid he'd say I was on my own and I'd have to take care of her myself. So, I had her in private and then left her once she was old enough."

"Why didn't you tell us? We would have helped." Jennette said.

"I didn't know that at the time!" Brittany yelled at her sisters. She felt more bad about the whole thing already, she didn't need her sisters raining down on her about the whole thing.

"Hey, girls!" Dave called before entering the room. "Next week is Lilly the Chipette's first concert, and I decided we should all go and welcome her to the world of fame." He said.

Brittany froze at those words. The moment Alvin meets Lilly he was going to know who she was.

"Alvin is really excited to meet her, for some reason." Dave added before leaving the room. Brittany just sat there on the bed, just waiting for her nightmare to end.
