Luke's P.O.V.

"Cal it got 3,000 views!" I shouted across the room at my best friend who was perched on my sofa. Our new song 'Try Hard' had just received 3,000 youtube views and 500 likes.

"No way! Let me see." He scrambled over to me and pulled my laptop out of my hands. "Oh my God Luke this is unbelievable! That's 2,000 more than our last one!"

I had never seen him this excited before and his whole punk rock reputation was definitely at risk. He was acting like a teenage girl.

Calum was basically living at my place. His sister Mali has recently announced her pregnancy and apparently she hasn't hesitated in her craziness. His Mum is waiting on her hand and foot and Cal just got a bit sick of it.

Anyway, Dad is always out with Cassidy Rodriguez's Mum so he's not in the house that much.

Cassidy Rodiguez is my new next door neighbour. She changed her name to Williams after her parents divorced but it hasn't really stuck with me. She's really hot so my door to her is wide open.

"Luke are we famous yet?" Cal asked hopefully and I sniggered.

"No you retard. There are 7 billion people in the world only 3,000 of them know about us and only 500 like us. We're nowhere near famous."

"Shit." He mumbled but it wasn't a sad one. He new we were only on our way up and we needed to work a lot harder than we were.

The first thing we needed to start doing was to get people to like us. As it stands now, we are probably the most hated boys in Sydney. We need to lay off on the bullying a bit, it's pissing people off. We live two different lives really. When we're in public we act all badass. And a lot of the time peopel actually think we are , but the truth is , we are just superhero obsessed dorks with a music dream and a youtube account with barely any friends.

Ouch.

The second thing we needed was a lead guitarist. Yeah I can play a few chords and stuff but we need a proper shredder. Someone who will bring the band to life.

The third thing we need is fans. That's the hardest thing because the type of music we play isn't really that popular with kids these days. We are a pop punk band and not a lot of people listen to that kind of music. But our hope is to bring pop punk back.

That may sound easy but we've been trying to kick off this whole band thing for years now and it just hasn't been working out that well. It's gotten to the point where we're doing this out of spite to show people that we aren't just teenage dirtbags from Sydney who make people feel like shit for living.

Cassidy's P.O.V

Pardon? Did I hear her correctly?

IMG models, Sydney? Like the IMG models, Sydney?
Could this be it? My big break. Following in my Mum's footsteps. My dream could become reality.

We let Stacey continue explaining and she went on to tell us about IMG. Most of it I knew because that's the agency my Mum was signed with.

She gave us her card and told us to give her a call when we'd made up our minds. We thanked her and waited for her to leave before literally screaming. People gave us dirty looks but we ignored them. All I cared about was the fact that me and my best friend could become famous models. AHHHHH!!!!!!!
