Chapter 1: The Next Vampire Queen

When I became older, I had learned that I was the next vampire queen and I had an enemy who father was the king and also the king of wolves Amir was a twin. They all wanted my necklace and I felt like the whole entire world was plotting a plan against me. My adoptive parents told me that "You secretly have a kingdom called Astira. We called Andy last night when you were sleeping and went to the shop. " "Astira?" I was wondering why that kingdom sounded so familiar then I realized it was because.... I always had different dreams about vampire queens and wolves chasing after me. Another, one I had was me running from a pack of wolves. And I was screaming seems like it had something to do with my Moonstar necklace. I always wondered about it and why did I have it? My father came home really late and asked "Aszel why are you wake still?" "Father, I felt different today"  "Different?" repeated my father "Yes I feel  like a part of me is missing" "Dear it's late go to bed" My father pushed me away and closed the door.I tossed and turned "Why did he ignore the question?" "Did he know something?" My mind was begging me to get out of bed and my heart had a bad feeling... In the middle of the night I heard something that sounded like a scream. I quickly ran out of bed and when I saw a blur of people with ears and tails. It was hard to see cause it was so dark. When I looked my mother was bleeding she had a wolf bite on her arm. I held her hand and tears formed from my eyes "Mother... your not leaving us are you?" "Oh of course not dear just a bite that's all" Lucky my mother had stayed alive for a really long time. My father took me back to my bedroom "What just happened so it's true that must have been an warning if I didn't obey or listen to them" "Should I give it away?" I heard a voice it was faint but I felt like someone or something was here speaking to me. "No Azsel, don't they want that necklace" "W-where are you speaking from!?" I said as I was holding onto a broom in my hands. "I-i will smack you in the face with this broom!" I heard laughing "It's me your mother Bellan you might not  remember but I had to leave you" "M-mom you're not my mother I already have one!" I yelled at the ghost "Seems like you are getting used to your adoptive family huh?" "F-first tell me who you are" "I will prove to you that I'm your mother" Bellan showed her what happened and Aszel was so sad. "S-so your'e my real mother where is father?" "..." "Mom?" "Well you might not know this side of the story but there were 4 kingdoms vampires,wolves,lions, and dark creatures" "Dark creatures" "Yes dark creatures feed on vampires mostly" "Why us?" "Because we give them what they want most: to relive forever" "So they feed on our souls so they can live forever?" "And the Moonstar necklace" "First tell me why all of these kingdoms besides us need the MoonStar necklace" "Well it's becau-" Aszel heard her father's footsteps. "Oh no he gonna think I'm sleeping when I'm not!" "Bye Aszel" "Goodbye mother!" Aszel whispered as her mother's spirit disappeared. Aszel quickly hid under the covers. She could hear her father's footsteps becoming louder and louder. The door knob was slowly opening and her father had stepped into the room. "Aszel, your mother is asleep and I heard that someone was talking or something" said her father as he was stepping closer. "Aszel???" her father said he was shaking what felt like her body and pulled off the covers. "Oh she's sleeping weird maybe my mind is just going crazy again"  Her father had left the room and Aszel woke up after he left. And kept thinking about what her mother said "Well you might not know this side of the story but there were 4 kingdoms vampires,wolves,lions, and dark creatures" So, there were more creatures besides Vampire and they all want the same the Moonstar necklace. She wondered what was so special about one necklace? She got out of bed and looked out the window "I wonder... they was a way to figure out what happened and why all the different Kingdoms split apart but in a sneaky way" she whispered just to herself while looking at the brightly full moon. "Isn't there a legends that says when a werewolf looks at the moon it's  remind them of the MoonStar necklace?" She titled her necklace to the moon a bit and watched as the moon's light reflect off and walked around the room with it. And she discovered hidden secrets and then was writing written on the walls. They said: "Get out of here" "The MoonStar necklace is curse" "Bellan is a bad person" "The dark creatures are good" "The Lions are bad and Wolves are good" "Queen Aszel is the only one that can find the truth" Aszel mind was racing This was so hard to figure out if these were true or lies!  "This wrtiting  whoever wrote this stuff must have before young like me and is warning me about my mother?"whispered Aszel. If she thought being a Vampire Queen was hard then the next step was even harder: Ending the war between both sides.
