Dead in Another Universe

Chapter 1

No one's POV:

Today was a very normal day in class 2-A. Mina was telling Denki how she found Kirishima dancing in his room yesterday. Bakugo was shouting at everyone for absolutely nothing, as usual. Kirishima was trying to calm Bakugo down, as usual. Jiro was shouting at Minata for trying to sneak into the girls' bathroom, again. Asui was teasing her friend; Uraraka, after she caught her staring at Deku. Everything was going normally, little did they know, today would be a different day, a completely different one.

Izuku Midoriya is a student in his first year at UA. Izuku's life has had many ups and downs. Izuku's past wasn't the best. Izuku hates his past. He has never told anyone about it. Not All Might, not his mom, and definitely not his friends or teachers. He really didn't want anyone to know how pathetic the person they admired so much was. Izuku sometimes still wonders if he really changed from how he was. Maybe it's only because of All Might's quirk that he's changed, but it's still All Might's quirk, and he's still Izuku Midoriya. He is nothing without the quirk, isn't he? Izuku is still thankful for everyone, nonetheless. U.A, All Might, Mr. Aizawa, and all his classmates and teachers have done a lot for him to make him a better person. Izuku knows that no one would guess he didn't have a quirk before U.A, he knows no one would know how he was.

Izuku had a really bad feeling about today. He just told himself it was nothing.

After classes ended, while Uraraka, Todoroki, and Izuku were going back to the dorms, they heard an explosion sound nearby. The three hurriedly used their quirks to go where they heard the noise. When they reached, they found themselves in the support course's room with Katsuki, Ashido, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Jiro also reaching for the explosion.  "Huh?" Bakugo said. "I did it!!!" Hatsume Mei, from the support course, shouted. "I finally made the dimensional portal!" she screamed as she showed a purple-looking see-through oval-shaped thing from behind her.

 Everyone was confused. "Umm, explanation please?" Kirishima said. "It's basically a portal that would teleport you to the next dimension. The dimension would probably have the same people and the same places. Only with one change that has changed everything after," she explained.

"Woah! You mean, we get to see another copy of ourselves?!" Kirishima exclaimed. "The thing is, it hasn't been tested yet," Hatsume added, "but here's a portable portal for when you come back." She said as she gave Izuku a small phone sized device that Izuku could tell can be opened. Izuku could tell from Kaminari's look that he completely didn't understand what Hatsume just said, so while Hatsume was explaining how this will work, Kaminari went a little close to the portal to have a better look but ended up tripping and accidently pushed everyone except for Hatsume as she was standing a little far away. Everyone fell in the portal. Izuku could hear Katsuki shouting 'Idiot' while he was being pushed in.

No one's POV:

"At least I told them about it not being tested." Hatsume shrugged as she waited for them to be able to come back.

After appearing in the other side of the portal, everyone was trying to catch their breaths. "That. Was the scariest thing. I've ever experienced. In my whole life!!" Uraraka said between breaths. "I thought I was dead, man!" Kirishima added.  "I swear I'm gonna kill you dunce face!" Bakugo angrily shouted. "Guys please calm down" Izuku said quietly but loud enough for his group to hear him. "We don't know where we are or what changed in this dimension. We really need to stay as calm as possible and look around for the changes." 

"Tch!" was all Bakugo said. "I agree with Midoriya," Mina said, and the rest nodded and stayed quiet.

After everyone recognized the place as UA, they slowly made their way to their class. They carefully looked inside their class. "Bro, it's us!" Kirishima whisper-shouted to Kaminari. "I know right! that's so cool bro" Denki whispered back. 

They took a second to analyze their surroundings before Izuku said, "guys, anyone else noticed how weird this Kacchan is acting? I mean, look at him, he is wearing a mask on his mouth and sitting awfully quite in the corner of the room." 

 "Now that you mention it," Jiro said.

A minute later the bell rang, and the class ended. That was when the other Bakugo talked with a low voice and said, "Kaminari, can you please open the window?"  No one from the other dimension showed any unusual reaction to what he said, but the ones from the original one had their jaws dropped. 

Jiro, Mina, Denki, Kirishima, and Uraraka said, "What. The. Heck. Did. We. Just. Witness?" in one voice. This was so wrong. Bakugo talked with a low voice, called Kaminari by his name, and said please! Bakugo Katsuki. Said. Please.

Bakugo muttered a 'What the heck?' He was too stunned to say anything else.  "Please tell me someone got that on video!" Kaminari said rolling on the floor dying of laughter. "What did you just say, Dunce Face?!" Bakugo loudly shouted; he had to regain his composure; he couldn't look embarrassed in front of those guys that he totally didn't feel comfortable around. Definitely not.

 What he didn't realize was that he shouted a little louder than intended. "Kacchan! Shhhh" Deku whisper-shouted as he put his hand on Bakugo's mouth to shut him in panic. Some people from the other dimension looked at where the sound came from. But when they looked, the group were already hidden, thankfully. Everyone let out a sigh.

 A couple minutes later, after everything calmed down, Todoroki noticed something; "umm guys? Where is the Midoriya from the other dimension?" he asked. This class's arrangement was a little different from theirs, other than Bakugo swapping with Yaoyorozu and sitting in the back-right corner of the room, the desk which is supposed to be Izuku's is the front-right one. "Now that you mention it, my desk is empty, it doesn't have my tools so that means that either they have a practical session next session or that I'm absent or-" Deku started muttering as always without realizing it. He flinched a little when someone interrupted. "Um excuse me, I'm trying to get to my class, could you move?" Deku looked around for his group but found no one. They all hid when they heard Shinsou coming- Wait- Shinsou? He said my class- what- how? "U-um u-uh -y-yea su-sure" Deku stuttered. "Who are you anyways, I didn't see you before, are you knew or what?" Shinsou commented casually.

"....what?"
