Ellina's P. O. V
I follow behind Rue who opened the door of the house and went in. She hold the door opened for me that make me feel weirdly happy, like something is in my stomach and my hearts is fluttering. The past 3 days of studying we had after school had made us a lot closer or so I think.
I can tell that Rue is a smart students with hight intelligence , if she try it won't be hard for her to be top easily . I only had to explain it one time and she get it, sometimes I get the feeling that she understand it already but only asked me due to some unknown reason, this just remain my conjecture as I was unable to come up with any reason she would do such thing .
, “ Why are you standing there so dazedly ? ” Rue asked coming back to me seeing that I didn't followed with a hint of laughter in her voice, she messed with my perfectly combed hair with her long slender hand, I quickly slapped it away fixing my hair while glaring at her, but secretly try to control the rising corner of my lips.
, “Let's go ” Rue looked at me for a tad longer and walk with me tailing behind her, we come to Rue house to get something. It's the first time that I ever felt like I'm connected to her cause no matter how much I try I feel like she had never truly let me see her, or enter her world. But, this is a huge stride taken towards it, in a way this can be seen as her slowly letting me in. Right?
I don't know why I want to enter this person's world so much , get to know her and why I feel my heart flutter when she do little insignificant things for me. I don't understand what make me anticipate the evening session in the library so much, but I know that I want it is the reason needed here?
I trail behind Rue as she slowly climb up the stair to the second floor of her house, “ Where is everyone? ” I asked seeing the house so empty, “ Busy doing their own thing” there was not much and down in her voice but I have an intuition that Rue don't want to continue talking about this so I stopped.
She walked to the very last room and enter the room, I stand still before the door and was just about to move away from the entrance to just looked around the house, unsure whether Rue was okay with me entering her room. Sometimes , I feel like she is only tolerating me and I'm afraid that patience will snapped if I overstepped my boundaries.
, “ Okay! I'mma be angry real bad if you keep being that slow! ” Rue poke her head out holding the doorframe as support , staring straight at me, “ I'm coming! ” I try to reply in a casual tone but can't stopped the corner of my mouth from rising, good thing she had already turn her back on me.
I walked into the room, Rue's room was simple with a minimal decorations . Her room looked organised and clean except the table in the room , notebooks and some papers were pilling to the height of mountains with some colors , pencil, water . My curiosity was pique when I saw it, did Rue draw? I've seen her doodle something which always come out very beautiful . I take on e of the paper from the pile lying in it and examine it. It was a design of a dress, I think it's autumn theme judging by the style and colors. It was extremely beautiful and looked so elegant, I wonder how it would turn out if it's really made into clothes.
Third person's P. O. V
Rue looked at the small figure that lean down slightly, carefully examining the paper in her hand. The lighting in the room was dim giving off a few ambiguous feeling, but it seem like only her think like this. She watch as she turn the paper around trying to find the best lighting to carefully examine it.
, “ Pretty? ” Ellina flinched hearing the sudden question, she turn around and saw that Rue was standing a few feet away from her. How could she not hear her movement? She was just so absorbed in the painting that she completely zone out , she feel like the person's face in the painting was strangely familiar but can't seem to remember from where. The person in the picture was a woman with blond hair and big blue eyes, with beautiful body . There is high chance she is just some painting without the real person really existing but it's really is a familiar face.
It's on the tip of her tongue she just find it hard to get it out though , “ Yes. ” Ellina reply truthfully.
, “ Is this drawn by you? ” Ellina asked tilting her head to the side a little, her pure gem like eyes focused on Rue.
, “ Who else? ” Rue retort advancing towards Ellina and stand next to her , tucking the hair that was straying behind her ears. Ellina didn't think much of it , she continue to looked at the painting.
, “ I didn't know that you draw, ” Ellina state with a small smile, “ There is a lot of things you don't know about me” Rue reply half serious, “ Well, that's true to some extend”Ellina admits it half heartedly.
, “ Let's go I've get what I want” she said directly taking my hand in hers, “ What did you get? ” I asked.
, “ Really?”Ellina question in disbelief.
They exit the Bennett's house, Ellina was completely unaware of the hold that tighten when they left the door or the smile and Rue face that was brimming in happiness.
