A New Life(under editing)

A New Life:Prologue

This is My first time writting on watt pad.  So i hope you like it!:)

Prologue:

     ''Aphrodisios! Aphrodisios ! Where are you. I promised your family I would keep you in my sights the entire time you were with me." Where in the world could she have gone off to?

     "I'm over here, next to the spring. Ariana, I got my foot stuck...... again."

 I walk over to the river, and there she is just sitting there. Aphrodisios is a rare beauty, and seeing her sitting by the river, she looks like a nymph. But always gets into trouble a lot.

     " How did you get your foot stuck this time? No, let me guess. You either saw a beautiful fish and wanted to get a closer look. Or the day is so beautiful that you wanted to go for a swim. Well?"

     "Ariana, this is not a joking matter. I am stuck and I need your help out."

     " Fine, fine. You know that if you lived in a city you would have been run over by a horse a long time ago."

     " But we do not live in any of the big cities. We live on the country side of Coronea, where little to nothing happens, but the people that live here say that if there was more to do they would fall over and die."

We both laugh. because that is exactly what people around here say. When we finish laughing i look at her foot. Lucky her only a few scrapes and  bruises but nothing much.

      "Guess what. You are going to live, and be able to walk. There is nothing rong with the bone or the mussles."

     "That is great. We have to get back before the party starts."

We start walking down the road in silence. We usually do, it gives us both time to think to our selves instead of having to rack our brains over pointless chit chat. Coronea is beautiful. And even better it is far away from Mount Olympus. Well not the farthest but it is nice and peaceful here.Suddenly and recking my train of thought Aphrodisios speaks.

     "Um Ariana you came from the temples right under mount Olympus. And all of the people from those temples are said to know great magic. So why would you leave and come here, and how come you have lived with us for seven years and never sown us any magic."

  Wow that took me back  "Well I left mount Olympus for a reason which I do not plan to share with you in  great detail. But when i was seventeen my link to magic was sealed, and since I was a prodigy it took a lot from me so I left. Short abridged version."

We walk in silence for a bit.

     " Ariana, if I die will you make sure that my ancestors all have fulfilling lives?"

     " Why on earth would you say that you are only twenty?"

     "I don'y know but will you just promise me this?"

     "Yes I promise.''

We walked in silence the rest of the way. When we got back the town was almost ready for the party. So we hurried to get dressed an as soon as the sun went down every one in the town was in the square. We all stood in silence for a wile and then all of a sudden music started playing and every one came to life. The young men started asking the girls to dance. Drinks were pored and drunk men were making toasts to the gods and random things like trees and rocks. The older women gather together and to sing songs, and gossip.
